I can't imagine anybody looking up this journal, since I rarely post on Slashdot anymore. I write this entry just in case, and that is to mostly apologize for most of the posts I've made on here. At least in half on my posts, I got modded up for only demonstrating my ignorance of the subject matter. Worse, I presented my ignorance as fact, not as opinion.

I don't post anymore for those reasons; I have nothing useful to add to discussions, my cursory knowledge of things is usually covered in the first ten posts of a topic. I do still read /. obsessive-compulsively, though, and try to moderate fairly when the opportunity presents itself.
