So, I've actually gotten around to writing a second journal entry. I'd better explain my situation a bit better so my last (first) post makes sense.

I used to live in Townsville, Queensland, Australia. Townsville is a great place, if you can stand the small-minded people, the horrific summers (100% humidity), and the highest rate of skin cancers in the world. In my case I also had to contend with some family trouble which was pretty much screwing up everything in my life. Ie, my social life, my jobs, my studies (2nd year medicine), my health, and my ability to stay away from bad influences.

So I moved, about as far away as you can from Townsville, to Albany, Western Australia. Albany is a city of 20,000 or so, Townsville had something like 150,000. Its cold and it rains too much in winter... but its a nice change.

I couldn't get a job and I had no car for the first 2 months so I started working out at the meatworks. Its okay money, but I was too tired to do anything. So once I was out of a hole I started working at dominos delivering pizzas.

So thats where I am now. I've used this week to do up the car a little bit and I think I might have a job with a local car accessory shop doing installs.

I've got 5 hours left of today and i'm not really sure what I am going to do... I picked up some bigger brakes for the car which used up the last of my money till tommorow, and I'm not even sure when I can put them in.... should have spent the money on an alarm...

Ahh well I've got a close at the pizza shop tonight so that'll keep me busy.

Wow, So I've finally gotten around to writing a journal.

Today is the 5th Day since I quit Fletcher International, a sheep processing plant.

Thats right, 5 days ago I was stripping meat off mutton carcasses, waking at 4:30 to do so, and getting home at 4:30... then they wanted me to work 6 days a week so I gave them the flick.

Yay, my courier from brisbane just arrived... I'm going to go unpack my gear...
