Planlined is a software solution designed specifically for employee-benefits brokers to facilitate benefit proposals. It transforms quotes from carriers, SBCs, invoices, and rate sheets into easy-to-understand side-by-side comparisons, as well as branded proposal books and comprehensive employee benefit guides. Initially launched in 2025 under the name BART (Benefit Analysis Reporting Tool), it addresses the cumbersome task of manually entering data during renewal season. Instead of re-keying information from carrier PDFs into spreadsheets or presentations, Planlined streamlines this process by allowing users to upload their existing documents. The software automatically extracts plan data, presenting it in a normalized comparison format and highlighting any uncertainties for verification against the original source before sending it to clients. Once a case has been approved, users can export a customized proposal book and an employee enrollment guide, both featuring the branding elements of the agency, such as logos and color schemes. Since the data for both documents is derived from the same source files, consistency is maintained throughout. Additionally, plans and cases are archived in libraries for easy access during the next renewal period, while client share links allow for effortless sharing of comparisons without the need for attachments, enhancing convenience and efficiency.
