Referencer is a GNOME application developed to help users manage documents or references and to create a BibTeX bibliography file. Tailored specifically for scientists and researchers, the term "document" generally refers to research papers, although Referencer is compatible with any document type supported by BibTeX. One of Referencer's standout features is its ability to automatically gather bibliographic information, or metadata, for various document types.
