Summary: Great application would definitely recommend to others.

Positive: -Store all your data safely in one place
-Able to download any document at any time

Negative: -Can use in more than 1 QuickBooks at a time.

Summary: I am really happy with it, the client portal is easy to use thats important so they don't contact us as much.

Positive: We save a lot of time by directly printing PDFs to SmartVault. in the past we would have to print and send documents the hard way. now it is just few clicks.

Negative: The online portal and the desktop portal are different in what they allow you to do.

Summary: I think SmartVault is easy to use and navigate. I especially allow the desktop syncing so that you an access both from the cloud and thru the Connected Desktop.

Positive: I like that this has allowed me to implement paperless process and meets IRS data security guidelines.

Negative: I don't think engagements roll forward easy from year-to-year and across multiple clients.

Summary: A nice product for remote teams. It gives me access to all documents and allows me to share updated documents as needed. A great product

Positive: This system has worked very well for our team. We can share documents, ensure we are working with the most recent, and get our work done efficiently - all without using up our own storage.

Negative: I have challenges with the set up as a Z drive vs. logging into the cloud. I've never been able to figure it out.

Summary: We love this product! I would recommend it to other business and I think our clients enjoy using it to send documents as well.

Positive: It is easy to use and has excellent customer service. We have had a really good experience! It far surpasses the previous software we used.

Negative: I wish i could sort and filter by client ID. It doesn't impact use though.

Summary: No complaints, I like it much better than DMS. The reliability and ease of use make it worth it in my opinion.

Positive: Easy of use, reliability and functionality are all pros. The software is perfect for folks who all share data remotely.

Negative: I think it's expensive but I'm not sure. I heard it was $400/user/year but I'm not sure if that is accurate.

Summary: Overall this is a functional site for our secure uploads of banking and personnel information to our company accountant. It is not particularly user-friendly for the non-tech savvy, and the design and navigation is clunky and has the feel of an old school 2000s website rather than a streamlined modern design promoting easy use. Some of the prompts and buttons are very confusing, such as the "add" button next to pinned folders. This site is usable for our organization but it is not one I spend more time with than absolutely necessary.

Positive: Secure database, short upload times, good search features to find past uploaded documents, easy to use once certain functions are enabled, download notifications to see who has received the items requested/uploaded.

Negative: Difficult to navigate between folders in an account from an non-administrative end, upload process can be confusing when trying to upload to specific folders, pinning folders to Home Screen is not intuitive and using pinned folders is confusing because the "Add" button does not mean upload but means add another pinned folder.

Summary: Overall, it was very easy to setup and use. I really like being able to bulk-add new tax folders at the end of every year with preset permissions so we won't have to reinvite every single person to a folder one-by-one, and being able to export lists of our clients with the filters is also really useful.

Positive: I liked that it is very user-friendly and we are able to share folders with our clients without having to share every folder with every client. Our clients also feel better about sending us their financial documents through SmartVault rather than email or google drive.

Negative: There is no way to edit a document in SmartVault, it has to be downloaded first, then edited, then reuploaded. Also, the mobile version is not as easy to navigate. An actual app would be really helpful. There also isn't an easy way to archive folders, other than to create a folder called archive and move the client folders to there.

Summary: Fantastic online document storage platform with bank level encryption that allows our organization to rest assured that documents are safely routed and secure.

Negative: -Pricing could be more competitive to be more attractive.

Summary: Overall we are happy with the software as it has helped a small business like ours to begin the transition to the cloud with ease. Aside from the cost, which we don't have much to compare to other than our own budget, the software has been running well and we would not go back to the old ways.

Positive: Very much like the integration with our tax products. We use Intuit products and it has integrated well by have cross program transfer of data and automatic categorization and naming of documents that are placed in the cloud. The ability to make engagements and engagement folders and tie them to all or some of the clients is very efficient. Access to data via cloud is very helpful.

Negative: The set up can be a bit cumbersome but considering our data load it was expected. Also, generating custom folders and coding that properly was also somewhat difficult, but tech support helped.

Summary: I use this filing system on a daily basis and I am happy with it. I mostly am checking out/checking in XL and PDF documents and everything works just fine.

Positive: Easy to navigate.
Allows carrying forward of pre-templated folders.
Close your file and it automatically checks back in to filing cabinet.

Negative: 1) Sometimes there is a bit of lag when jumping around and opening files.
2) It would nice to check out a file in a non-editable manner so that you can be sure you do not make any changes to a file you are viewing .

Summary: Once you start using it and show your clients how easy it is to use you'll love it and wish you had done it sooner.

Positive: Secure way to share files with clients. It helps to have information organized and archived in one place., especially with more people working from home.

Negative: Implementation was a little tough until I got the hang of it.

Summary: Overall the product is good quality and can be a beneficial solution to be added to a firm's enterprise.

Negative: There can be some frustration when it comes to searching client folders.

Summary: I am very happy for SmartVault because of its security, ease of use for myself and my clients and price.

Positive: SmartVault has many features that most businesses can use totally free! SmartVault was instrumental in helping me provide the infrastructure to get my business up and running by giving my clients peace of mind that their files would be safely stored with me. SmartVault has given my clients and I a secure way to share information which is easy to use.

Negative: I wish there were more integrations. I often have to download a file onto my computer and then upload it to SmartVault to share it with my clients. I wish I could capture the document straight into SmartVault.
