Efficient tool for staying on top of rental operations

    Edited: Apr 14 2025

Summary: RentPost is a solid choice for landlords or property managers who want a reliable and user-friendly way to manage properties. It covers all the essentials and keeps daily operations running smoothly.

Positive: Easy to navigate, keeps everything well-organized, and simplifies rent collection and tenant communication. Great for managing multiple units without feeling overwhelmed.

Negative: The interface could use a visual refresh. It works fine, but a more modern look and smoother mobile experience would make it feel more current.

Finally a property management software that handles maintenance like a pro!

    Date: Apr 04 2025

Summary: It’s reliable and keeps everything running smoothly. I just wish the interface looked a bit more modern. It works fine, but a little design refresh wouldn’t hurt.

Positive: I love the dashboard on RentPost. It gives me a quick glance at what’s going on, such as payments, tasks, tenant issues. All in one place.
Owner statements are super clear, which makes it easier when I need to share updates or crunch numbers.
The accounting tools help keep things neat without needing extra spreadsheets.

Negative: Wish there were more options to customize things to fit how I work and I wish there was an app for this, honestly.

The work order setup on RentPost is legit!

    Date: Apr 04 2025

Summary: The work order system is solid. It keeps repairs organized and helps keep tenants happy. It could be a little faster, but it’s still a great tool for managing maintenance.

Positive: 1. Tenants send repair requests with pictures through this property management app, so no more back-and-forth calls.
    2. Every repair is tracked from start to finish, so nothing gets missed.
    3. Tenants like it too, it makes me look professional. Love that, especially!

Negative: Sometimes I miss payment updates, so gotta check manually.

    An Effective Property Management Tool

    Edited: Apr 01 2025

Summary: Overall, RentPost saves me time, keeps everything organized, and provides a smoother experience for both me and my tenants.

Positive: Automated rent collection gives a lot of ease to mind. Also built-in tenant screening has helped me a lot in terms of reducing my work.

Negative: Minor technical issues at times. Rest, I'm quite happy with this software.

RentPost helped us from getting overworked

    Date: Oct 01 2024

Summary: We are very happy with RentPost cuz of its 360- degree features. Particularly tenant screening and WO. We were getting unqualified leads and being a small team we weren't able to track them to the fullest. RentPost helped us organize everything

Positive: Since starting it has been extremely difficult to do the online tenant screening. Post covid it was all messed up. One of my friend introduced me to RentPost and it's like godsend. Really like the intuitive UI. Earlier we were overworked due to constant schedules with unqualified tenants

Negative: Honestly, I can't think of anything noteworthy. So all good

    Effortless Online Rent Collection

    Date: Aug 20 2024

Summary: Honestly, the experience was so good especially after their makeover. I've been using them for 12 of my units and it's the easiest app I've used so far. 12 units have 20 families each with each different move in dates, its so hard for an old dude to remember them, but fortunately I just setup reminders and streamlined WO.

Positive: Rent collection was never easy for us, thanks to RentPost, it has become extremely streamlined. It wasn't easy for me to manage WO, followup rent collection for 12 units. Thankfully I have been using RentPost for past 8 months now

Negative: Support could have been better. I understand their issues but still it seems they're not doing their job correctly. However everything else is smooth

Lowkey the applicant-to-tenant thing is nice.

    Edited: Sep 23 2026

Summary: This wasn't even the feature I was specifically looking for when I found RentPost on Reddit. It just ended up being one of the things I use more than expected. Anything that means less copy-pasting between systems gets a thumbs up from me.

Positive: I found RentPost on Reddit when I was looking for something that could handle applications without making me jump between five different places. The application side lets me collect the information and documents I need, run screening, and then move an approved applicant into the tenant workflow. That last part is what sold me. I don't have to copy everything over again just because someone got approved. The signed lease can also stay with the tenant's records, which makes finding it later way less annoying.

Negative: There are quite a few application settings, so getting everything exactly how I wanted took some trial and error.

RentPost’s communication stopped bleeding into my personal life

    Date: Jan 13 2026

Summary: Before this, my texts were a mess and I was constantly context-switching. Now I check messages when I’m ready, everything is documented, and nothing spills into my personal phone anymore. That boundary alone made this feature worth it.

Positive: 1. Tenants message me through RentPost instead of blowing up my personal number.

    2. Messages stay tied to the unit and tenant, so I always know who I’m talking to and why.

    3. Photos and documents stay in the thread instead of getting sent separately and lost.

Negative: The mobile browser can feel a bit slow when loading older conversations.

    RentPost fixed my turnover chaos.

    Edited: Oct 31 2025

Summary: Turnover season used to be a mental scramble of sticky notes and forgotten tasks. RentPost structured the chaos. It’s excellent for keeping track of all

Positive: I can log move-out dates, set up cleaning/repair tasks, and immediately start a new lease process without any confusion between tenants. Payment tracking is super detailed, which is critical for calculating final security deposit

Negative: A built-in, customizable turnover checklist feature would be an amazing addition to help track cleaning, painting, etc. Right now, it's mostly manual task entry.

Setting up automatic late fees with RentPost is so easy

    Date: Jul 26 2025

Summary: Automating late fees means less awkward conversations and more consistent cash flow. This is one of the smarter features RentPost offers.

Positive: RentPost offers customizable late fee policies, letting me set rules that fit my needs. The automatic application of fees saves me a lot of time and hassle. Tenants can clearly see any fees on their accounts, which helps keep things transparent.

Negative: The late fee notifications could be more detailed to avoid confusion. Sometimes tenants still call asking questions about their fees, which could be reduced with clearer communication.

It centralizes all tenant interactions, making it easier to keep records and follow up on issues.

Positive: The messaging system allows for direct and organized communication with tenants, reducing misunderstandings.

Negative: Customizing lease agreements within the platform can be a bit clumsy.

Setting up tenants, leases, and payment schedules is super easy with RentPost, I really like it!

    Date: Apr 22 2025

Summary: Overall, if you’re serious about saving time and staying organized, RentPost is 100% worth it. Reporting is simple too, which helps a lot during tax season.

Positive: It’s made property management so much smoother for me. The auto-reminders for rent are great, now I barely have to follow up anymore. Plus, it automatically applies late fees, which saves me from awkward conversations.

Negative: Managing stuff from my phone when I'm out doing property visits would be way easier. So a mobile app is needed.

Positive: RentPost saves me time with automatic rent collection and easy tenant screening. The maintenance and reporting features are straightforward, and the interface is super user-friendly.

    Edited: Apr 21 2025

Summary: RentPost’s accounting is a no-brainer. Keeps my numbers tight and cuts the busywork. Bit of a learning curve, but once you’re in, it’s smooth sailing.

Positive: 1. All my rent and expenses stay in one place, neat and organized.
    2. I can easily pull reports, making tax time much smoother.
    3. The automatic payment logs save me from writing down notes all the time.
