QuickHMI Description

QuickHMI, developed by Indi.An GmbH in Bremen, Germany, is a cloud-based HMI and SCADA solution that has been providing automation software since 2006. Users can create their visualizations using a Windows editor, which can then be deployed across various platforms including Windows, Linux, Docker, or Raspberry Pi. The system allows operators to access their interfaces through any contemporary web browser, a dedicated viewer, or via a mobile application. There is no need for client installations or licenses, as QuickHMI does not impose follow-up costs for licensing; it does not charge for runtimes or tags. All commercial editions come with unlimited access to data sources, variables, alarms, pages, and concurrent sessions. QuickHMI supports a wide range of connectivity options, including Siemens S7, Modbus, Beckhoff TwinCAT, OPC UA, MQTT, KNX/EIB, Allen-Bradley, BACnet, SQL databases, InfluxDB, and various web services. The engineering process is facilitated by a user-friendly drag-and-drop interface that incorporates SVG graphics along with approximately 4,000 pre-designed controls, comprehensive alarm management features, recipe management, and user management with role-based permissions. Additionally, it offers responsive design breakpoints and the flexibility to integrate custom HTML5 and JavaScript elements. Users also benefit from twelve months of support and access to major upgrades, making it an attractive option for business clients. The platform stands out in the market for its comprehensive features and cost-effective licensing model.
