PrintSent serves as a virtual printer specifically designed for Dealertrack DMS, featuring a compact pre-configured device that connects seamlessly to the dealership's Dealertrack network, simulating one or more compliant network printers. Staff can continue printing from Dealertrack without any modifications to their workstations, avoiding the need for additional software, workflow adjustments, or training sessions.

This innovative solution efficiently captures the entire print stream, retaining logos and formatting after executing Send Logos, transforming each print job into a professionally branded PDF file. These documents become available within moments in a shared online portal, allowing users to view, download, or email them as needed. Additionally, there is an optional routing feature that directs specific document types, like repair orders, purchase orders, invoices, and statements, to designated inboxes.

A single device is capable of managing multiple printer IP addresses for various departments such as Service, Parts, and Accounting, all while coexisting with existing printers. The setup process is streamlined and typically takes less than 30 minutes, requiring only the addition of the printer IP, the creation of the printer within Dealertrack, and the execution of Send Logos. Furthermore, PDFs generated by PrintSent are encrypted both during transmission and while stored.

It is important to note that PrintSent is exclusively compatible with Dealertrack DMS, functioning as a virtual printing solution rather than a complete DMS, and it does not utilize OpenTrack or any API integrations. This specialized focus ensures that dealerships can enhance their document handling without complicating their existing systems.
