OutcomeWatch Description

OutcomeWatch is an application designed for Shopify that monitors the effectiveness of order automations and identifies any discrepancies. While Shopify Flow or other applications may indicate that an order has been successfully processed, there can still be issues, such as the absence of a VIP tag or a hold on fulfillment. Merchants can select an order event—like order creation, payment processing, cancellation, or any alterations in fulfillment—and outline the expected result, which may include specific tags or changes in financial or fulfillment statuses, along with a grace period for verification. Once this grace period elapses, OutcomeWatch reevaluates the actual state of the order within Shopify and documents any incidents, clearly detailing both the anticipated outcome and the information reported by Shopify. For each new incident recorded, paid plans will trigger an email notification. It’s important to note that the app operates in a read-only capacity, focusing solely on reporting missing outcomes without altering any store data. The Free plan allows for one watchdog and up to 100 checks monthly, while the Starter plan offers the capability for up to ten watchdogs, provides email alerts, and maintains a 30-day incident history, all of which can be tried for free for a week. This ensures that merchants can better manage and rectify any issues that may arise in their order processes.
