    Good Disk Imaging & Cloning Solution

    Summary: Macrium Reflect is a beginner friendly tool for image creation and cloning. It helps in backup & restore of any disk drive. It also makes sure the data is secure. The Free Home version is great and works for most needs.

    Did not work and made the SSD unreadable. Stay away!

    Summary: The task was simple: I needed a clone of a freshly installed Windows 10 on a 10 years old laptop. The clone was performed from SSD to SSD. The clone did not even boot. Re-formatting was not possible in Windows. Connecting the SSD froze the whole system. I had to try half a dozen emergency CDs until I was eventually able to delete the partitions and re-format the SSD. That was a total failure that took me hours of precious lifetime.

    Positive: There is nothing positive to say about the software. Installation was smooth and easy. But that is to be expected, isn't it?

    Negative: The clone was finished "successfully". Well, the SSD did not even boot. I wouldn't consider this a success. Even worse, the SSD was kind of bricked and couldn't be re-formatted in Windows.
