Summary: I am completely satisfied; no complaints. Once you grasp the principle, using it is really simple and self-explanatory.

Positive: It is very easy to set up, and the actual backup process—once everything is configured—takes practically just one mouse click. It is simply well designed. Restoring data is just as easy should a problem arise; that, too, is done with a single click. I have been using it for years and have never lost any data. This little program has saved the day for me many times. I would choose it again in a heartbeat, and I use it for both business and personal purposes.

Negative: I can't think of anything negative. It is easy to set up, easy to use, and above all, very reliable.

Summary: Very easy to use on my PC and make me feel very safe that all my data is safe and if something gets wrong l can regain all my data.

Positive: Very easy to install and use on my PC and makes me very secure to know that my data is safe day after day.

Negative: Nothing at all. Program Backup Maker makes me feel safe.

Summary: It has all the features I would desire in such a utility program without all of the 'bells and whistles' found in some programs. I'm somewhat 'Old School' and the interface fits my needs and taste just right. The report given after each backup is particularly useful. I will always use this program.

Positive: I'm a developer and it's extremely important that my work is competently backed up to avoid potential mishaps. I've been using BackupMaker for several years now. It performs it's job particularly quick and well.

Negative: Had a few minor issues that were taken care of or explained quickly by tech support.

Summary: Exceptional backup--Ascomp software is amazing--Including their video capture software, SCREENCAPT, which is exceptional--I tried 20 video capture software programs--none come close to SCREENCAPT. Positive: Very easy to use but very effective!--Backup comes out perfect--very easy to set up---Also--their screencapture software (Screencapt) produces the best video copies --I use it for legal cases when needed to be introduced into evidence in Court. There is no equal.

Negative: None--It is fast and accurate--and amazingly easy to set up for backup.

Summary: Excellent product I have being using for 14 years. It is comprehensive. It is lean - highly efficient without taking up computing resources. It is very well supported with frequent upgrades.

Positive: Lean and efficient. Frequent upgrades. Upgrades install very fast and there have never been any glitches.

Negative: I don't understand some of the options and nuances. However it is good that these features are there for those people who need to use them

Summary: A truly excellent program that offers great value for money. The software is continuously being developed, and regular updates are provided. Highly recommended.

Positive: A truly very useful program for data backup. Once the desired backups have been set up as a task, you don't have to worry about anything else—everything happens automatically.

Negative: The range of features for creating a backup job is truly extensive, and for—let's say—inexperienced users, it can be difficult to find their way around at first.

Summary: I've used this for daily and monthly backups for many, many, years. I also use Macrium for images, but BackUp Maker is my easy and reliable data backup.

Positive: Easy to set up and runs reliably on any schedule that you want. I have used it daily for years and have had very few issues.

Negative: You need to be very careful is you want to use the "Procedure before/after backup". feature. It requires some technical knowledge.

The change to/from daylight savings time will force a full backup.

Summary: Very quick to set up.
Easy just click the time and days you want to backup and hour done.

Once you set time a what days you want, that was it, done.

Negative: There is no cons.

I guess the only con is the instruction could be better

Summary: I have tried about 10 different free backup software and only Backup Maker have all extras and have 0 problems!

Positive: It never restarts or freezes. It works perfect in Windows 7 and Windows 10., have network features and is easy to customize! I really love it!

Negative: Nothing - it is perfect! I have tried other 9-10 other types of similar software, but this is really the best!

Positive: I use BackUp Maker for my daily backups and I am very satisfied with it. It offers an impressive range of options and allows me to customize every backup exactly as I need. The software is reliable, flexible, and regularly updated.

Negative: The large number of options can be a little overwhelming at first, and some of the advanced settings could be explained more clearly. However, once everything is configured, the program is easy to use. I have not encountered any major problems.

Summary: I really like using this software because of how quickly a basic backup can be set up and that it's unobtrusive. I would like to see an option added to allow a backup to be skipped if there's nothing to back up.

Positive: The use of standard ZIP format archives, the ease of use on the interface and that it works away in the background and doesn't interrupt you unless necessary.

Negative: I have not been able to find an option to do nothing if no modified files are found because it generates an error report if there are no changed files when that can be a valid situation.

Summary: I find this backup software to be very useful in daily work routine. No problems whatsoever. 5 star review

Positive: Backups without problems. Easy setup. Timer is possible as necessary. Software updates and improvements on regular basis.

Summary: Again, I love this product. Having used several other Backup programs over the years, Backup Maker is the one I still use today.

Positive: I have been using Backup Maker for about 8 years or so. It is easy to use and simple to set up different backup routines. Such as: Photos Backup, Email Backup, Documents Backup and a Complete Drive backup.

Negative: I wish it was faster but I can live with the speed of the backup.

Summary: Best and easiest backup program on the market. I like the ability to immediately just go to my file a manager, find the backed up file, and simply unzip it, without needing a special program to un-encrypt it.
I like the way that it intuitively deletes the oldest backup to make room for the newest.

Positive: Extreamly versatile and intuitive.
We prefer non-encrypted backup, so if we mess up a file and need to retrieve a backup, it is as simple as going to the place that we backed it up and unzipping it..that's it.
Very affordable.

Negative: Step by step backup setup instructions would be a nice addition.

Summary: Easy to set up, easy to automate and schedule, and as I said I trust this company. I have bought lots of little softwares from them.
