Excalibur View is a construction-focused drawing viewer, markup, and takeoff software developed by a structural steel estimator actively working in the field.

The markups created are standard PDF annotations, ensuring that any set annotated within the program can be opened seamlessly in applications like Bluebeam Revu or Adobe, retaining all formatting and positions. It also supports the import of Revu .bpx profiles and .btx tool sets, complete with their associated tools, custom columns, and unit weights.

This software empowers users to measure length, area, count, volume, and angles at the specified scale, with each tool incorporating its own unit weights, allowing for tonnage calculations on the takeoff while drawing beams. The Shop List feature efficiently converts marked-up items into a cut list, detailing stock lengths, saw kerfs, and leftover drops.

Excalibur View is available for free to individual users, including for commercial purposes, and requires no account or expiration date. For offices, Excalibur View Office is offered at a one-time fee of $250 per seat on owned machines, with optional updates at $100 per seat annually.
