Formdall serves as a backend solution for static websites, allowing users to easily integrate form functionality without the need to create their own endpoints; you simply modify one attribute, directing the action of your HTML form to Formdall. There’s no requirement for SDKs, npm installations, or additional build steps. Upon receiving submissions, we validate them against a custom field schema that you define for each form, filter out any spam, and securely store the legitimate entries in an encrypted format. Notifications are then dispatched in various ways: an email to you, an automatic reply to the sender, a HMAC-signed webhook to your system, or a combination of all these methods. Inside your inbox, you can conveniently search through submissions, export them as CSV files, and delete specific entries as needed. Privacy is fundamentally integrated into our architecture rather than just a marketing claim; we are hosted in Germany and utilize AES-256 encryption for data at rest, while IP addresses are stored solely as a daily rotating hash. Additionally, we employ a self-hosted proof-of-work captcha in place of reCAPTCHA, eliminating the need for cookies, cookie banners, or any data transfers to the U.S. Our retention policies ensure that data is physically deleted on a daily basis rather than relying on soft deletes. Moreover, Formdall is compatible with MCP clients such as Claude, Codex, and Cursor, enabling the creation of forms and the seamless integration of the generated code snippets directly into your project. This flexibility allows for a streamlined process in managing forms while maintaining a high standard of security and privacy.
