WipeCert is a specialized data erasure tool designed for managed service providers, IT asset disposition firms, and internal IT departments. It securely wipes data from HDDs, SSDs, and NVMe drives in accordance with the NIST 800-88 Clear or Purge standards, as well as the DoD 5220.22-M guidelines, automatically selecting the appropriate method for each drive and requiring operator confirmation before execution.
Upon completion of each wipe, a certificate is generated that is signed with an Ed25519 key and includes a QR code, which can be verified at wipecert.com without the need for an account.
