Description
ShieldFive is a software solution designed for document collection, specifically tailored for accounting, immigration, and mortgage sectors. The process begins when a firm provides a client with a secure upload link accompanied by a PIN, enabling the client to upload documents easily from any device without the need for an account, application, or password. Each file undergoes encryption within the client's browser prior to upload, ensuring that only the firm can access it, while ShieldFive retains the encrypted data. Firms can create request checklists for various forms, including Form 1040, I-130, I-485, and mortgage applications, allowing them to track which documents are still outstanding, confirm receipt of submitted items, and include the client’s email for reminders sent by ShieldFive, which can occur up to twice. During the trial and on the paid plan, the client upload page prominently features the firm's name and logo. The encryption utilized is a post-quantum hybrid method (ML-KEM-1024 coupled with X25519), and the core cryptographic components are open source. Additionally, the service is hosted in the EU and is offered for free for the first 14 days, followed by three active requests at no charge, with a monthly fee of EUR 29 for each seat thereafter; clients incur no costs. It is important to note that the platform is designed solely for document intake and does not support e-signatures, thereby streamlining the submission process for users.
