Description

The new search functionalities of the Auto Librarian Cloud allow for simultaneous searches across all categories, such as Title, Call number, Author, and Subject, with remarkable speed. Users can effortlessly navigate through extensive search results, which can be segmented into manageable groups of 25 to 50 records, and refine their queries almost instantaneously with each keystroke, ensuring that the Results Grid updates in real-time. In addition to checking the status of materials, users can access a View link that directs them to Google Books, providing a wealth of supplementary information. The Patron Access feature enhances the library's catalog presence, allowing for convenient access from any internet-enabled computer, which is particularly beneficial for classroom settings. Borrowers can also review their Circulation Summaries, including details on checkouts, fines, and their borrowing history, although a pin number is required for this access. Furthermore, a quick link showcases the ten most recently added materials, giving users an efficient way to stay updated on the latest additions to the library. This combination of features makes the Auto Librarian Cloud an invaluable tool for both patrons and library staff.

Description

Journal Finder® serves as a comprehensive A-Z list, link resolver, and electronic resource management (ERM) solution all in one package. It offers library users convenient access to electronic materials through a clean and intuitive interface, tailored specifically by librarians to enhance the experience for library patrons. Initially developed in 2000 by the team at the University of North Carolina - Greensboro, Journal Finder was the first OpenURL Link Resolver to be implemented in the United States. In 2008, WT Cox acquired Journal Finder, ensuring all your journals are accessible from a single entry point. Users can access titles through various methods, including electronic formats, print, interlibrary loans, and document delivery. The content list is updated automatically, and since it is hosted by WT Cox, libraries can avoid server-related issues. The system is fully customizable to align with your library's website, and it provides management reports along with an easy-to-use administration interface for content maintenance. Additionally, it functions as a basic ERM tool for all electronic resources, allowing seamless linking from citations found in commercial databases to the library catalog or full-text articles in other databases. This not only enhances user accessibility but also promotes efficient resource management within the library system.
