Description
AssemblyX Pro serves as the cornerstone for achieving a paperless manufacturing environment with minimal disruption to operations. Its user-friendly interface allows for easy learning and utilization. Both production engineering and quality assurance teams can effortlessly create shop floor processes and procedures, eliminating common challenges such as formatting issues, cut and paste errors, and file size inflation. Production engineers have the capability to consolidate all pertinent elements, including high-resolution images and videos, bills of materials, visual instructions, health and safety guidelines for personal protective equipment, COSHH documentation, risk assessments, tooling, and supporting reference materials like 2D and 3D CAD files. Crafting shop floor processes and procedures, also known as Electronic Work Instructions, necessitates that engineering teams gather information from various sources. Furthermore, once these procedures are established, they require meticulous version control and updates as changes arise, which can be labor-intensive when using traditional tools like Word, Excel, or PowerPoint. This streamlined approach not only enhances productivity but also promotes a more efficient workflow in the manufacturing setting.
Description
MES Software, or Manufacturing Execution System, encompasses a range of functionalities designed to facilitate smooth communication across various teams involved in planning, execution, and management within an organization. Traditionally, the issues encountered on the shop floor have been pinpoint problems that were tackled by developing a system or process that integrates with control systems and software solutions. Over time, these tailored responses may not align with the broader information technology strategies and frameworks of the organization. Furthermore, a significant hurdle in managing a software-driven decision support system arises from the rapid evolution of IT technologies, which often contrasts with the more gradual advancements in the organization's core technologies. For over thirty years, MELSS has collaborated with clients across multiple sectors, including Engineering, Manufacturing, and Commercial industries, gaining valuable insights and experience in the process. This extensive engagement has enabled MELSS to adapt its solutions to better meet the diverse needs of its clientele.
