Journal ncc74656's Journal: Shots fired into Bush/Cheney headquarters 6

(posted first here)

In the same vein as this JE comes this (via Drudge). It's beginning to look like things could get much worse before they get better.

BREAKING NEWS: Shots fired into Knox Bush/Cheney headquarters

An unknown suspect fired several shots into the Bearden [Tennessee] office of the Bush/Cheney re-election campaign Tuesday morning.

The headquarters are located at 4618 Kingston Pike, next to Noveau Classics and in the same shopping plaza as Long's Drugstore.

According to Knoxville Police Department officers on the scene Tuesday, it is believed that the two separate shots were fired from a car sometime between 6:30 am and 7:15 am. One shot shattered the glass in the front door and the other cracked the glass in another of the front doors.

There were no witnesses to the shooting. A customer at a nearby dry cleaning store noticed that shattered glass on the sidewalk in front of the headquarters and called police.

  • Lets see if I win the race to post a conspiracy theory before some nutty lib...

It must have been a republican trying to forge^Wmake it look like a democrat did it! Cause we all know that liberals are all peace loving people who hate guns! It must have been Dick pulling the trigger with Bush driving. I swear, only an evil Karl Rove would have thought of someone those coniving. It was probably Rice who stole the laptops from the other headquarters too! She works in intelligence. And... shoot, wasting
    • Nah. No conspiracy needed.

Republicans piss people off. It's their party's only unifying trait. (How ELSE do you reconcile "gun rights", "capital punnishment", and "pro-life"???)

      • Gun Rights: respect life of potential victims
Capital Punishment: respect life of potential victims
Pro Life: respect life of potential victims

        Wow, wanna try again?
        • Ooh, consistency. Great.

          But you're ignoring the inconsistencies:

Gun Rights: Individuals watch government to preserve their rights.

Capital Punishment: Government deprives a citizen of every right they have.

Pro Life: Government over-rules the right of one citizen for another.

OTOH, the only real objection I have with your points is that capital punnishment doesn't repsect anyone's life. It's a punnishment, and one from which there can be no repeal.
      • I can agree with the Reps piss people of theory. People that want to do anything they want, are pissed off by someone that sticks to some code of behavior and then has the audacity to say to them "I don't believe you should be doing X"

Ooohhh man. Is that the worst ever!?! Actually saying what someone thinks regarding anothers activities! That sure would piss me off! How dare they speak theyr mind and not agree with me?!

        • Hey Robi,

I guess we can see the true common cause connection between terrorists and the left.

(For those coming in late, this common cause is established two posts up).
