"Eat Whatever You Want - Lose Weight"

One big weight loss question is, Can You Actually Eat Whatever Food You Want And Still Lose Weight Effectively?

The answer is both yes, and no, but be sure you understand why...

Real weight loss is mostly about dismissing GUESS-I-MATION. And, what is Guess-I-Mation? It means using your imagination or emotional feelings to assess food or exercise body fat percentage.

Yes, you can lose weight while eating almost anything you want, provided your overall or total daily calorie count remains less than the daily physical effort you exert. See this purely in caloric terms.

A calorie itself has no weight, no true substance. It is simply a term food scientists use to determine the likely material or metabolic WORTH of each food. And, effectively every food has a caloric content value, whether it be high, low, in-between, or even neutral.

Water is your best weight loss food example of a neutral caloric content food. It has no calories. This is why you can drink so much of it, without adding any fat to your body weight.

Again, yes, you can lose weight while eating almost anything you want. Yet, now consider an extreme diet that worked for many people (until some of them died from ketosis).

With the pure meat protein weight loss diet, participants consumed no breads, starches, or vegetables - only meat - three meals per day. That is, meat for breakfast (with no eggs, no pancakes, no rolls, bagels, muffins, or toast).

Secondly, users ate meat for lunch (with no lettuce, tomatoes, sandwich bread, or fruit).

Lastly, dinner comprised only a combination of meats... fried, baked, broiled, roasted, barbequed - did not matter.

Realize that weight loss occurred simply because the overall daily caloric count of meat-meals consumed totaled less than physical calories burned from intentional movement or exercise.

The problem with such extreme weight loss dieting style is that you abandon special vitamins, minerals, and supportive nutrients that give your body its ability to process, regenerate, and rejuvenate. This type of weight loss (although you can say it works while you are using it) does more harm than good to your body.

In other words, how good is a thin body, if you must literally die achieving it?

Far better to employ solution number two:

Eat whatever you want, only as a variety of nutritious foods that lend themselves to both fat loss and useful energy.

Example fat-loss foods are:

1. Tomato, lemon, and grapefruit juices - especially the whole fruit.

2. Whole grain cereal sources, especially old-fashioned oatmeal, bulgar wheat, and barley.

3. Tossed green salads, especially spinach, kale, cabbage, bok choy, and romaine lettuce.

4. Beans and lentils of nearly every kind.

5. Soy products rather than meat or dairy products (because of increased isoflavones, reduced total fat, almost non-existent saturated fat, no lactose, and zero cholesterol). External cholesterol comes almost exclusively from animal foods.

6. 100% water. This is your best drink, hands-down. Replace gradually. Start cutting your present drinks by adding higher and higher percentages of water, until your taste buds acclimate to the new, no-or-low-sugar flavor appreciation.

7. Egg whites, brown rice, and plain yogurt. (Reasons: white rice has zero cholesterol; brown rice comprises complex carbohydrates with less blood sugar spiking and slightly more nutritional elements; plain yogurt has no sugar and lots of lactobillus acidophilus to cleanse and protect your inner body, as well).

Whatever you want to eat can serve your weight loss goals only as you master this dependable, proven, lasting caloric concept:

Energy-In Minus Energy-Out Equals Current Body Weight.
