Journal GMontag's Journal: TNR help: Any TNR subscribers left reading me? 7

Just ran across this at Ezra's 'blog.

It is about this New Republic article: Group Think that I am having trouble getting a full copy of. Seems that TNR blocked the little tricks I was using to get full copies of their articles and I have not thought of anything new :(

Anyway, the article begins as a rehash of this article from 3 months ago in the Examiner.

I thought it was odd that the 92 day old article is by my 'favorite' TNR employee, who is now an assistant editor there. Perhaps if someone saw the whole TNR article it would not seem so odd, like a mention of the Examinar article (that seemed more like a Stephen Glass job than a true article).

Anyway, I have tried Google and Technorati, with no luck.

BTW, don't forget your local 2600 meeting tonight!

Apparently a few of them are my Army buddies do. I do suspect that it was just one and they spread it around and was nice to hear from them.

Thanks for turning me on to a place I can write. Here is my latest rant on my take on the computer industry : http://slashdot.org/~DinoGeek/journal/154164 [slashdot.org] Later, p.

Aw, come on Phillip! Post a copy of the article I am looking for now, I know you are a closet subscriber :)

Guess I will have to swing by Borders on the way back from Ft. Myer (car work) later and see if the Dec. 11 issue is on the stand.
            • I think this young journalism tramp has overstepped her bounds in jourmalism. The thought of taking advantage of someone looking for a date and then they find out they are being used for some type of magazine essay esperiment is a testiment to her lack of character and lack of humanity. Besides, someone her age should not be writing for a major publication like this. She is still in diapers. What a naive little vixen. I believe in karma. She will get what is coming to her.

Check my most recent (to this time stamp) JE about a good writer that I just discovered. She is a liberal who can still write well about Ann Coulter.

As you will see, I told them, in no uncertain terms, to see Figure one. -- Dave "First Strike" Pare
