The Chart Viewer feature in eMedRec presents a Patient Chart that mimics the style of traditional paper charts. By selecting a Tab located on the left side of the chart, users can access the information contained within that Tab, which is organized with the latest documents appearing at the top. Users have the flexibility to rearrange the contents based on document type, location, or any other column, including the default sorting by Date of Service. For convenience, associated fax numbers for individual charts are preserved, enabling quick two-click faxing to the patient's pharmacy, primary care physician, or insurance company. Additionally, both chart contents and prescriptions can be sent via fax immediately to any pre-associated number or a newly specified destination.
