Negative: Tax knowledge and new IRS rules for crypto trading are absolutely daunting. No tax software is absolutely perfect to help navigate Crypto tax rules.

Summary: With my tens of thousands of transactions last year, There's no way I could gather all the needed data in a timely manner. ZenLedger definitely simplifies the process.

Positive: What a great tool ZenLedger is. It is extremely intuitive and easy to use, has great features, and the pricing is good for the service you get. Such a time-saver!

Negative: Not necessarily an issue with ZenLedger but some of my exchanges aren't able to automatically connect with ZenLedger. Therefore there's a little more manual work to get the needed data.

Summary: Like similar crypto tax preparation programs, ZenLedger requires that ALL current and former exchange transactions be listed and accounted for. When your memory fails you, this could slow up your process.
Working with ZenLedger over the past three tax seasons, I have been very satisfied with the accuracy and completeness of their product. In addition, it has taught me to be more diligent over the year to record each and every crypto transaction I engage in for when it becomes crypto tax season again.
I may have an excellent memory, it's just my recall is not what it use to be. Year-long note-taking helps me with this and is a necessity when it comes to ZenLedger activities. Best of luck!

Negative: Requires dedicated time and effort to tackle the "learning curve", which every other service probably has as well.
When you run into a snag, it may take a day or so to get it resolved.

Negative: I think we are limited here but passwords seem outdated at this point.

Summary: It would be a nightmare to try to manually gather and enter all the information done effortlessly with ZenLedger.

Positive: This is my third tax season to use ZenLedger, and each year it seems easier to use. The accumulated information for tax basis simplifies my tax preparation and the bitcoin price at the time of an exchange would take time and effort to track down without this product.

Negative: Some wallets and exchanges must be manually entered.

Summary: In my experience, I can't be without ZenLedger for my crypto tax information. I'm not very savvy on the ins and outs of taxes in the crypto world, so having ZenLedger's knowledge for compliance is essential. Even when my portfolio had many issues to resolve, my contact, Julian, walked me through every step. It was completely successful. I highly recommend ZenLedger.

Negative: I don't have any complaints at all with ZenLedger's service.

Summary: I use it every quarter to update my gains/losses, to play for rebalancing and tax harvesting. Its essential at year end to prepare all the forms needed by my accountant that they add to my tax submission. Its well worth the cost!

Positive: Once set up properly (not difficult to do) this will generate profit/loss statements and fill out IRS forms and clearly show me losses and gains imported from all my exchanges and wallets. Truly this is as easy as it can get! My accountant appreciates the completed forms generated here that I just email him. And since he charges $150 per hour it is easier, more accurate and less expense than dumping a pile of PDFs onto him to sort out!

Negative: I have been using this for the past four years and frankly it is super easy and I can't honestly complain about the value or ease of use. It's a great product.

Summary: My experience with this product was very positive as it helped me with my management of my finances.

Positive: One of the many things I liked about ZenLedger was its ease of use. Very easy to use. The range of options you have is amazing to track transactions.

Negative: The font could be easier to read. I had just a little trouble to read it on my computer. Other than that it’s mostly positive.

Summary: Very good. I would recommend this service to others who are looking for a helpful tool to organize their IRS tax forms regarding cryptocurrencies and tokens.

Positive: Great customer service! Erica and others I worked with are rock stars! Also, I like the amount of integrations ZenLedger has.

Negative: API Interface with KuCoin could be improved. Also, some of the exchanges weren’t supported yet.

Summary: I love being able to keep track of my Cryptos on Ledger Live while keeping my coins safe, secured and offline.

Positive: Security above all else, being able to lock your cryptos in a safe environment is the only perfect solution to having cryptocurrency.

Negative: No cons excerpt if you loose your security code you are out of luck getting into your device so keep it in a safe place.

Summary: Now with the addition of so many different cryptos and interest and staking, ZenLedger is absolutely indispensable. The availability of so many tax forms and the ability to download into our Turbo Tax return are very helpful.

Positive: We have used ZenLedger since 2019. It has held our hands through imports from numerous exchanges, wallets, etc. It has helped us navigate problems with identifying where holdings came from.It has simplified life.

Negative: Sometimes I am frustrated by the time delays in "chats" but I am grateful for the willingness to continue with different approaches to solve problems.

Summary: Overall, ZenLedger is very good and I am not super at navigating the crypto world. I love the idea of having all of my crypto transactions captures and converted into a tax form for my accountant. This is a must have given the new regulations that are coming down the pike and the need for good records to properly file taxes.

Positive: That I can pretty easily extract information from all of my wallets and exchanges.

Does a good job tracking things and telling you when information is missing.

Has a good library to get help and has very good support.

Negative: Not all exchanges or wallets allow direct download and you have to create a csv. That gets a little tricky but do able with the help section and support.

Summary: The exceptions that come up, is by far, the most difficult thing to fix. A lot of those "problems" are from the various exchanges that for some reason do not include ALL of my transactions. This of course is no fault of the ZenLedger software. Just please keep going after them to fix their API files!!!

Positive: The ease at which I was able to pull down the API file from the various exchanges that I have utilized for my extensive crypto purchases.
I also love how easy it is to populate my information into the various tax forms that I need to file!!

Negative: Since I only need to use the software once a year, I have a hard time remembering all the steps I need to take to get everything completed for the new year.
