    A great product

    Date: Mar 11 2025

Summary: I think Zedmed is a stand out software program for specialists. It is user friendly, has excellent features and remains my favourite software.

Positive: I have used Zedmed for over 20 years, (and also Genie, GENTU, and Clinic to Cloud ). Zedmed continues to stand out as an easy to use product. We recently moved to Zedmed Cloud, which had some hiccups but now is running well.

Negative: Support can be slow to respond , compared to the past, but is overall not too bad.

    Please do not use this

    Date: Jul 31 2023

Summary: Just don’t do it. Don’t, please, seriously, don’t.

Positive: As a GP - it has very detailed access to MHR - that integrates with things like prescriptions and pathology results. Still very clunky.

Negative: The support is abysmal. The documentation is abysmal. Inherent design leads to likelihood of very poor notes from clinicians, To write a script is 7 clicks (each script!!!!), bugs like the Appointment window will pull up the wrong patient file (not kidding). You can’
t resent an script as an email or SMS (its a one time thing).
Things like - it doesn’t recognise previous scripts (I think the name changes by a ‘.’ or a ‘ ‘ and it can’t find it)
    I have whinged and complained.
I suspect the only reasons it is group wide is a) the owner - 1 -its all he is used to 2 - its the cheapest
