Zap your workflow woes away with Zapier.

    Date: Apr 22 2023

Summary: In today's fast-paced business environment, time is money, and any tool that can save time and increase efficiency is a valuable asset. Zapier is a platform that can do just that, and more. It provides a simple and intuitive user interface that guides you through the process of creating Zaps (automations) that can connect and automate multiple apps and tasks seamlessly. Whether you're working with popular apps like Gmail, Slack, Salesforce, and Dropbox, or niche ones like Mailmodo, Bubble, and ActiveCampaign, Zapier has you covered.

One of the most significant advantages of Zapier is its ability to create multistep Zaps that can perform multiple actions in a sequence or in parallel. You can customize your workflows based on conditions and rules, using filters, paths, and logic, to create a workflow that works best for you. This flexibility makes it a powerful tool for businesses of all sizes and industries, allowing them to streamline their processes, reduce human error, and increase productivity.

Despite these benefits, Zapier is not without its drawbacks. One of the most significant disadvantages is its pricing structure, which can be confusing and hard to predict. Some users may find cheaper alternatives that offer similar functionality. Additionally, Zapier does not have mobile apps for iOS or Android, limiting its accessibility and convenience. Lastly, Zapier does not support smart home devices or IoT integrations, which may be disappointing for some users who want to automate their home or office environment.

In conclusion, Zapier is a powerful and versatile tool that can help you automate your work and increase efficiency. It provides a simple and intuitive interface, supports a wide range of apps, and allows you to create multistep Zaps with filters, paths, and logic. Additionally, it offers a free plan and responsive customer support. While it may have some disadvantages, such as its pricing structure and lack of mobile apps, the benefits it provides make it an excellent choice for anyone who wants to streamline their work with web apps. I highly recommend giving Zapier a try and seeing how it can help you optimize your workflows and increase your productivity.

Positive: In today's fast-paced business environment, time is of the essence, and every minute counts. That's why finding ways to streamline your workflows and automate tedious tasks is crucial to staying ahead of the game. This is where Zapier comes in, a powerful automation platform that can help you connect your favorite apps, automate your processes, and save time and effort.

One of the standout features of Zapier is its simple and intuitive user interface. Even if you're not tech-savvy, you can easily create Zaps (automations) in just a few clicks. You can choose from hundreds of pre-built templates that cover a wide range of use cases, from lead generation and email marketing to project management and e-commerce. Alternatively, you can create your own Zaps from scratch, using the app's drag-and-drop editor.

Zapier's app integrations are another impressive aspect of the platform. With over 3,000 apps to choose from, you can connect virtually any tool you use in your work, from popular ones like Gmail, Slack, and Dropbox to niche ones like Airtable, ClickUp, and HubSpot. Plus, Zapier allows you to use webhooks and custom requests to connect any app that has an API, giving you endless possibilities to customize your workflows.

Another key advantage of Zapier is its ability to create multistep Zaps, allowing you to perform multiple actions in a sequence or in parallel. This feature can significantly reduce the time and effort required to complete complex tasks, such as lead nurturing or customer onboarding. Moreover, Zapier offers a variety of filters, paths, and logic to help you customize your workflows based on specific conditions and rules. For example, you can set up a Zap that sends a personalized email to a new lead only if they've clicked on a certain link in a previous email.

If you're hesitant to try out Zapier due to its cost, you'll be pleased to know that the platform offers a free plan that allows you to create up to five Zaps and run up to 100 tasks per month. This is a great way to test out the platform and see if it meets your needs. If you need more features, Zapier offers several paid plans starting at $19.99 per month. These plans provide you with more Zaps, tasks, premium apps, and advanced features such as paths and filters.

Zapier's support team is a valuable resource for users, providing 24/7 assistance via email or chat. The platform also has a rich knowledge base, a community forum, and a blog filled with tips and tutorials to help you get the most out of Zapier.

Negative: While Zapier offers many benefits and advantages, it is important to consider its limitations and potential drawbacks before committing to using the platform. Here are some of the main issues to keep in mind:

One of the most significant challenges with Zapier is its pricing structure. While the platform offers a free plan and several paid plans, the cost can quickly add up for users who need to run a lot of tasks or use a lot of premium apps. The pricing model is based on the number of tasks, which can be confusing and difficult to predict. For some users, cheaper alternatives that offer similar functionality may be more appealing.

Another issue with Zapier is its lack of mobile apps for iOS or Android. This can limit its accessibility and convenience, as users are only able to access Zapier on a web browser or via email. For users who frequently work on-the-go, this can be a significant disadvantage.

Zapier also has limited support for smart home devices or IoT integrations. This can be a disappointment for users who want to automate their home or office environment, as they may need to use other services like IFTTT or Amazon Alexa for that purpose. This can result in a more fragmented and less streamlined automation experience.

Finally, Zapier's effectiveness depends heavily on the quality and reliability of the APIs of the apps it connects. If an app's API is down, buggy, or limited, it may affect the performance and functionality of your Zaps. This can lead to errors, delays, or missing features, which can be frustrating and time-consuming to troubleshoot.

It allows me to facilitate the integration of multiple platforms into one.

    Date: Oct 17 2022

Summary: I have improved the topic of automation with multiple platforms almost perfectly. I was very pleased to be able to integrate almost completely all the applications that I use in my company without moving to other business solutions to adapt to this platform since it was Zapier that adapted very well with my company. I have achieved multiple goals with this platform and also any department within my company has adopted it very well with the applications of each area by wanting to interconnect everything and have everything in one place. It was very easy to implement Zapier within my company so I did not need computer or programming experts to use this platform, although I have several fellow programmers who use Zapier in expert mode and have more control over it, so this I like it so we can continue to implement more features than we already have.

Positive: Âş Using Zapier in the form of NoCode is the best thing about this platform, since if I wanted to integrate multiple functions from multiple platforms, I would have to program a system that allows me to pass information from one platform to another. However, with Zapier all this is easier since I can connect different functions of different platforms without requiring a programming language that connects everything I want to do, simply with a drag and drop I can "program" so to speak without even write a single line of code.

Âş Many platforms that I use can be included within Zapier, so I have no limits or problems in being able to include them to improve my workflow. So I can say that the optimization of this platform is wonderful and has shown me real results when it comes to wanting to make everything more practical and almost automatic.

Âş It has good security so I can be calm when connecting the platforms that I use within my company that provide me with commercial solutions. So I don't need to worry about major data leaks as this platform doesn't easily give third parties access to data.

Âş The workflow and the automation of the tares have been of a good pleasure since I have been able to complete more tasks in a short period so I can say that this platform saves me time in the daily activities of my company and not only me but also my work team has found it a good strategy to implement this platform to improve workflows.

Âş It has an online community that gives advice when a question arises or a problem arises. I can say that it is even more efficient than the technical support of this platform, so this is of great help in case you do not know how to use certain automation functions.

Negative: Âş Managing and automating simple tasks was a smooth ride while being able to automate complex tasks was a headache as not all task integrations with other platforms work well so I have to stick to the basics to be able to manage A homework. It would be good if they got in touch with the other platforms so that this function is well integrated and thus not having to access the task management platforms and go directly to configure a complex task since that function is not quite right in Zapier .

Âş When an error occurs, whatever the reason, the notification does not give me enough information to know the cause of the problem. This is disturbing since, for example, I would like to know the problem that is being caused and I have to log in to the platform to see more detail about what is happening, so I hope they implement the facility to know the error through notifications without the need to log in within this platform.

Âş I received the worst technical support in the world, many compatibility issues, bugs, lack of features and other things that have happened to me could not be resolved by the Zapier team. It is disappointing to pay for a service and not provide good support when a problem occurs, and there is always an excuse for everything, so everything becomes more annoying when I leave my problems in the air within this platform.

Âş It would be nice to know or at least have a perspective on how long it will take to complete the automation. This would give me the possibility of keeping time better and thus improve and organize everything since I can determine the moment it will take me to complete the automation without having to wait or measure on my own when I can use that time for other tasks within the company. .

Âş I am very disappointed in the high prices that are rising more and more. This platform is the most expensive on the market and it has even made me want to work on the platforms that are integrated into it individually to save costs. In addition, they have not been clear with their costs since in several invoices there were some type of extra charges without even showing or clearly warning that this would happen. So it is time to read the entire contract thoroughly so that you do not fall into that type of problem.

    Operations Center

    Date: Aug 14 2022

Summary: Since using Zapier we have discovered that many of our workflow problems were solvable, we just needed to automate various tasks to focus on what really matters. The learning curve can be too steep, but once we managed to understand everything, take ownership of the space, and integrate our tools, everything became much easier. The best thing about all this is that you do not need encryption codes which makes everything much easier. We include all our data in a central unit and unify the information, so that the various areas of the company manage to advance in a participatory manner and in a synchronous progress, leading us to a common goal, without anything being delayed or advanced. We discovered a large virtual space where we can develop our full potential, one of the important points for us is the power of Zapier's integration, with each tool that we need to work with, Zapier manages to connect, there are zero limitations. It automates so many processes that we no longer must do manually, and it organizes the information appropriately on each platform, allowing us to continue working correctly without having to stop for small details and avoiding so many repetitive tasks. Our ROI has increased since we have been able to have the focus and time to work on much more important areas in a coordinated manner to the work carried out by Zapier. On the other hand, Zapier takes full ownership of doing simple tasks like submitting forms and campaigns, storing data corresponding to our clients in each database we have, correctly managing daily business tasks and certainly facilitating various work processes.

Positive: Zapier is all in one, it has been the central operations to monitor and automate the management of work in various software that we use to work. Its API system with work management software has been quite effective, it provides a clean interface and is quite extensive in managing its functions. I like that it fits seamlessly into the various applications I'm using at the time, whether it's managing workflow or evaluating my company's CRM system. Zapier is the main focus of everything, if I already have tools that take care of each area in particular, Zapier takes care of encompassing everything and allowing the management of each task to be carried out in a fully automated way, it is really an achievement to be able to view from a large panel of the various paths and tasks that I must evaluate in my day to day, and favor my work as a professional, automating so many repetitive tasks, allowing my focus to go directly to the necessary tasks, and thus achieve various work objectives. It provides various collaboration tools, where it is possible to unify the work team to make various progress in a participatory manner. Zapier is the main store of all my data, with its ETL function, combining data from different platforms and unifying them to keep all my work in sync and thus build a main idea of everything. Another aspect that I think is important to highlight is the configuration of access permissions, so that each employee has access to the area in which they are responsible for working and thus maintain order and confidentiality of the data. I'm glad I came to Zapier and recognize how important software like this is to our company. In addition to the fact that it is a super easy to use tool, a comfortable interface, completely automated processes, and with just a couple of clicks everything is ready, you do not need to be an expert to know how to use it.

Negative: Zapier handles some minor difficulties. I have presented some failures to load my data, and I have spent the whole day working on them and then I do not see them anymore, contacting customer support seems to be a waste of time, they are very inattentive and do not offer really accurate solutions, which it's a pity, besides that it's only via email, which means that their responses will take time to arrive and they almost always arrive when I have already found a solution, an online customer support would be a good idea to remedy this. It does not offer a mobile version, it would be ideal to be able to manage it from my mobile device, since from wherever I am I can review my work management and automate the workflow process, in this case I cannot do it from the mobile, but I always have to being tethered to my computer is really a significant disadvantage. It seems to me that the complete packages that offer an ideal service for what we need in my company can be a bit expensive, and much more for small companies like us, however, we affiliated with the Zapier service because we fully trust that an organized work can achieve great achievements, but even with this, it would be ideal if the service packages were much more accessible to their various tools. Sometimes it notifies me of double or duplicate entries, I try to see what it could be, but it really seems like a false error, I don't know what to do in those cases. In addition to this, Zapier sends notifications very late, when there is not a good connection between Zaps, it simply does not notify me until I come in to check, this delays our work time and efficiency at the workflow level.

    Good automation tool for non-coders

    Date: Dec 31 2021

Summary: Decent automation tool that doesn't require coding knowledge. A little costly for the plan for teams.

Positive: It's a great tool for non-coders to setup automations. Easy to use and there's a team function as well.

Negative: Most automations are one-way only which has created limitations with Bamboo HR to Google calendar integrations
Team functionality is only available with pricier plans
Cannot limit the zap/automation limits on zaps which has caused ill made zaps to use up the monthly allotment
