All backup tasks are executed in the cloud environment, necessitating only the setup and application of policies to the designated virtual machines. In contrast to a simple disk snapshot, this service generates copies of all virtual machine disks, which encompasses network SSDs, HDDs, non-replicated disks, and dedicated host local disks. If reverting the current virtual machine to a prior state proves unfeasible, users have the option to restore the backup to a newly created virtual machine, thus ensuring flexibility and resilience in data management.
