Complete SAM solution. Better than any other SAM software I've used Date: May 13 2020
Summary: Great dealing with Xensam via our channel partner. They did several demonstrations and ensured all questions were answered. Installation was easy as it's a small agent. We had questions about connecting to VCenter & O365 systems & they were answered within 30 minutes.
Training session was straight-forward and we are using the data to good effect in our business. A great experience.Positive: It is agent-based & organically hosted. It recognizes & optimizes applications on-premise, cloud & datacenter. It even recognizes virus, pirated software & malware - all really accurately. It's so easy to operate that our non-technical finance team are now experts in using it!
Surprisingly, all the hosting, all connectors, all platforms and technologies & EVEN TRAINING are included in the one license price. We got measurable ROI within 2 months using their advanced software usage metrics program. This includes the managed SAM service we took from our reseller.Negative: We wanted to investigate a non-agent based system which Xensam doesn't have. After investigating Aspera, Snow & Certero, agent-based solutions are actually more appropriate.
