    Great Product but not consistent between app and browser

    Summary: Overall I like When I Work. It makes managing the schedules of my employees very hands off for me. There are a few features I think would be a huge bonus like within a shift being able to add an appointment for a specific person and it show up 6:00am-11:00am TRAINING and then within that could have 8:00am-9:00am JOHN DO. I understand there being a minimum for how many staff we can have on but it would be nice to have it where after the initial 5 employees we could purchase one at a time. I have 5 employees, plus myself so I need 6 spots which means I have to pay for 10. I would be more inclined to use more of the features if I would not need to pay per 5.

    Positive: I like the ease of scheduling my trainers. It is incredibly easy for them to add in any requests and manage their availability on their own.

    Negative: I don't like that you have to buy in groups of 5 for employees. I know the cost isn't a lot per employee but as a small business, every dollar adds up VERY quickly. I own a gym and when my trainers have special things happening during their shift (first time workouts or a ClassPass user or personal training session) that I could add that to their shift with just the persons name so they're able to easily see it. I have tried adding the shift with note of the person coming but being able to name the event would be a huge bonus.

    Summary: Love it overall! Super easy to train my staff on how to drop shifts, swap, etc. Love the amount of notifications as well

    Positive: Love the communication assets and the customer service! Always so quick to answer and guide me through the issue.

    Negative: Lack of integration with Gusto payroll- would make it easier if I can just export and pay.

    Positive: That I am allowed to cancel staff to notify them from my phone or look at the schedule easily. Improves faster outcome to look at the schedule. The program shows how many are needed for the day. easy use. Easy to add schedule easy to remove schedule

    Negative: You can cancelling a staff from a phone but it doesn't notify them by text message i still have to call the staff to notify right away.

    Has helped us with errors in our schedule so much!

    Summary: This program has helped us in creating a schedule for multiple locations with fewer errors! We will continue to use it for the time being because of this!

    Positive: You can have multiple locations and positions on 1 view. You can also filter out the different locations and positions so you can look at the schedule multiple ways.

    Negative: I wish I could control the filters slightly more to wear I could look at 2 or more employees' schedules at once. You can see each individual schedule or everyone at one time.

    Improvements in labor responsibility in all sectors.

    Summary: We have been using When I Work for a year and a half (approximately) and the results have been noticed little by little in the effectiveness and responsibility that has increased in the employees. I was one of the people who participated during the implementation of When I Work, I was in charge of making configurations to facilitate access and the configuration of work schedules, and it has really been very worthwhile to implement this software, the implementation was simple in everything time and there was no need to hire a support plan. The comfort that we have had with When I Work is impressive, we have been able to configure work schedules, control the delays of some employees, know exactly if an employee has shown up at the corresponding time or not. We are very happy with When I Work, it has exceeded our expectations and has allowed us to improve work responsibility.

    Positive: When I Work is a very productive platform that helps work schedules and work tasks to be carried out successfully. One of the first things that I liked the most about When I Work is that it has real-time monitoring where all users can see the changes in schedules that are being made, in addition, users can check which people will be working on a specific time, all with details. Another of the things that I liked the most about When I Work is that it has a system where I can exchange work schedules with another person, this platform allows me to do this easily and the changes are saved instantly, in addition, my bosses receive the notification that schedules have been changed. The communication system within When I Work is quite good, it has a very complete chat where we can all discuss new schedules, share ideas about some work or something specific.

    Negative: One of the problems that we have faced with When I Work is that this platform does not have the "drag and drop" system, this system would simplify the order of work schedules, it would allow us to organize schedules more quickly and in an orderly way, In addition, it would also allow adding new work schedules with just a few steps. Currently the method of editing schedules is manual, it is a bit tedious to carry out this process so we hope that soon they will be able to integrate the drag and drop system. Another negative thing that is important to mention about When I Work is that notification-type SMS take a little longer to be received, notifications of work schedule changes arrive instantly on my phone and in my email, however, the SMS takes approximately 10 minutes after making the changes.

    Summary: For the most part it’s fine. It just the lack of some basic functionality like paid break tracking puts it behind other apps available.

    Positive: Lots of scheduling functionality including sales forecasting and assignments. Adding users is very quick as well. Also it allows for different language settings.

    Negative: I absolutely hate that the app does not allow clocking in/out for unpaid breaks. Both for managing breaks and legal compliance, paid breaks should be tracked.

    Summary: Overall my experience is that this could be a good platform to use but I still think there is a lot that needs to be enhanced to make it a great system to use.

    Positive: Like the ease of moving people to cover shifts. The color coating of the shifts is nice for ease of seeing who is working what assignment or shift.

    Negative: Can't look at an overall sign up list of people that signed up for open shifts.
