Summary: I am very pleased with Tactic. The software is a real value at the price point. Tactic is reliable and helps me managed 250 plus orders every day. I could not schedule and plan all of my orders without it.

Positive: Tactic has a report writer that comes with the package. No need to purchase additional software to write reports. Tactic has a mapping software to map your data to its fields. It is very flexible and imports from several different formats and databases. Again, it comes with the package and no need to purchase additional software to import your data into Tactic. Tactic is a very flexible tool. It can schedule orders and plan several different ways to accomplish different scenarios that I encounter. Tactic is very reliable day after day.

Negative: Some Tactic child windows are a fixed height and width and do not expand to show all text for fields. It doesn't scale very clear on Hi DPI monitors.

Summary: Very positive experience. The software is very user friendly. The support has been very strong and responsive.

Positive: At a glance the software gives visibility into shop status. It is easy to see the progression of orders – when steps were completed, where it currently is, when future steps are scheduled. Helps when dealing with our customers.

Negative: We haven’t yet encountered any negatives. We started using simple features and options and over time have gradually become more sophisticated users. There are many options and we are still learning some of the capabilities.

Summary: Working with Waterloo and Customer support specifically has been a pleasure. The Waterloo team goes far above expectations to provide insight and solutions as my business changes.

Positive: The software enables us to automatically generate detailed schedules for multiple work stations within work centers based on due dates. Software automatically groups like product to the point due date is affected.

Negative: I like the software. Many changes are occurring organizationally. While the software helps me manage these changes, as with any software it takes some discipline to reflect the changes in the software.

Summary: If you run a large supply chain there can be several possible scenarios in which you could be set back on your targets. There are just too many variables in a modern supply-chain. Give software like Tactic a shot. It can do wonders.

Positive: - Tactic helped us model our entire process before hand and better plan the timelines and inventory management.
- Excellent customer service response times.

Negative: - No major cons, Tactic has excellent algorithms running in the back end. Maybe they could improve the user interface a little bit and make it easier for users to discover new features easily.
