Fundamental to my Business Date: Feb 20 2026
Summary: Switcher has been absolutely core to my business as a mobile livestreamer over the better part of the last decade. Nick and the Switcher team are simply good people, who truly care and listen carefully to their users. Switcher is the 'sports car' of livestreaming options: there is so, so much power and creativity to yield when you leverage all the different tools within. And I love that you can take it anywhere and not have to rely on a computer.
Positive: Sleek, dynamic app design; reliable, stable UI; LOTS of dynamic, sophisticated ways to polish the little details. Support team is exceptionally communicative and leadership listens carefully to user feedback. Very easy to connect remote cameras. Multistreaming, horizontal/vertical video options and enhanced video call-in experiences have made a great product even greater.
Negative: Bit of a learning curve to get started, but once you 'get it' the possibilities are endless.

A solid port of an iOS livestreaming powerhouse Date: Feb 19 2026
Summary: A fantastic option for those looking to livestream and record a professional production with ease of use.
Positive: I really enjoyed the like for like familiarity. Having a powerful processor helped to have a much slicker environment to interact with, which meant importing assets, adding sources and more felt much faster than the iPad Pro counterpart.
Recording video and live-streaming felt just as natural and familiar as I was used to having on iOS. There’s also scope for much more connectivity on Mac OS and I look forward to seeing how the app grows in the Apple ecosystem.Negative: You lose the Touch experience that’s been integral to the iOS app, but having used a touch pad with iPad Pro, it’s been much more natural.

This software saved my business! Date: Feb 19 2026
Summary: Overall it’s been absolutely life changing for me. I will use switcher studio forever! Thank you to all the staff there for providing such an amazing product
Positive: When Covid started, I wasn’t able to have people come to my podcast studio and faced an immense challenge. I needed to become mobile. I looked far and wide for alternatives and I was not satisfied with some of my options. I found switcher studio and it completely changed my business. I’m able to produce extremely high quality production, fast, efficiently and convenient for my clients. I could show up to them, set up and give him a full broadcast that would have taken several hours and thousands of dollars. I use switcher studio in every production i do and it has completely changed my quality of life and the life of my family and business. Thank you!
Negative: I love everything. The only criticism I have is when they roll out updates, sometimes it creates bugs that go unaddressed for a while so we have to find workarounds to get functions working. I wish they would communicate more in the groups as well when it comes to bugs.

Switcher for Mac Date: Mar 17 2026

Positive: Ease of use. I can now use other cameras and other switcher devices for even more seamless live streaming and taping of our church services
Negative: I wish the price was cheaper especially for a smaller church, but I do understand

Switcher Studio Date: Feb 20 2026
Summary: Overall I love this product. It allows our small church to have a livestream that rivals or even surpasses some much larger churches in quality without requiring us to spend large amounts of money and maintain a large team of volunteers. As someone who believes that "good enough isn't good enough if we can do better," I love that this software allows me to put out a high quality live-stream. I have a few minor issues with it, some things I'd like to see different, but overall I give it very high marks.
Positive: I really like the ability to have multiple cameras to choose from without having to have multiple camera operators - the DJI integration makes it even better. I also like the WIFI connectivity, allowing me to place my cameras in the best position without having to worry about getting wires to them or wires being in walkways or aesthetically intrusive.
Negative: I am currently part of the beta for Switcher for Mac, but have been using SS since 2020. Some of my concerns with the classic app are addressed by the new app (and some I hope will be)

My primary issue with the app is being tied to an iPad. In order to operate the system in a way that works well for us, I have a large screen monitor and a keyboard and mouse. These are all tied to the iPad using an adapter (we are using hardwired mouse and keyboard to avoid lagging that happens sometimes with Bluetooth devices) All of this makes for a bit of a "clunky" setup, and also currently is creating a buzz in the sound that we have been struggling to resolve. (Being able to move to a desktop resolves much of this!)
My other main issue is the limited number of connections. I would like at least one more bank of three connections available, if not two, to make use of my equipment the most efficiently in line with the direction desired creatively and functionally at any given time (I currently have 14 cameras and up to 9 computer output captures I could use, and regularly change from one to another for different reasons)
I would also like PTZ support in multi-view/PIP view ... our lead pastor moves a lot on stage when preaching ... we have a tracker that follows him left and right but he also goes off the platform at times and I have to use the EPTZ feature to bring the camera down with him. However if I have a multi-view or PIP going, I have to exit that, change the camera, and then go back
