Summary: I will avoid using any software from Siemens if at all possible, and would recommend the same to others.
Positive: When first started using CodeBench, it was a reasonably priced option for STM32 based projects. This was before there were free options available. It did the job, but now there are better options available for free.
Negative: Initially support was okay, but pricing went up, especially after Siemens took over. Now I only use it for maintaining some legacy code, and most recently when I requested that I be able to move my license to a new PC, they wanted basically the cost for a new license, which is outrageous for the ability to make a few updates to 8+ year old code.
