    Easy to get addicted to

    Edited: Jun 08 2020

Summary: Super easy to import contacts and use, super optimized for maximum customer retention and engagement. Probably bad b/c it's not necessarily a productive use of time and addicting.

Positive: Snapchat really exemplifies how to dangle dopamine rushes in front of users to make them use your app more. Stuff like streaks, which Snapchat came out with years ago, reward you for using the app every day, with every single friend as you can. This is both good and bad I guess, but it's good design on the company's part.
I like how Snapchat also automatically lets you know if your content was screenshotted.

Negative: There's a lot of spam accounts that might be borderline illegal on Snapchat, used to solicit 'donations' via gift cards or CashApp. And the addicting aspect is kinda bad for the user too. Kinda funny to see your recruiters on Snapchat when you use the import contacts feature though LOL

Snapchat is fun and easy to use

    Date: May 23 2020

Summary: Very fun app to use and extremely user friendly. If you want to reach the younger generation, I would say this is the most used app within that age set.

Positive: Snapchat is a fun way to interact with like minded individuals. It is very easy to use and they have a lot of different options as far as filters and the ability to make your own.

Negative: Snapchat is not used by many older generations so if that’s your target audience it might not be the best app to use.
