Row Zero Description
Row Zero is the best spreadsheet for big data. Row Zero is similar to Excel and Google Sheets, but can handle 1+ billion rows, process data much faster, and connect live to your data warehouse and other data sources. Built-in connectors include Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, Amazon S3, and Postgres.
Row Zero spreadsheets are powerful enough to pull entire database tables into a spreadsheet, letting anyone build live pivot tables, charts, models, and metrics on data from your data warehouse. With Row Zero, you can easily open, edit, and share multi-GB files (CSV, parquet, txt, etc.)
Row Zero also offers advanced security features and is cloud-based, empowering organizations to eliminate ungoverned CSV exports and locally stored spreadsheets from their org.
Row Zero has all of the spreadsheet features you know and love, but was built for big data. If you know how to use Excel or Google Sheets, you can get started with ease. No training required.

Not ready for mass market Date: Jan 02 2025
Summary: For $8 it does the work, but I still wouldn't recommend it if you have a budget for something better. You need to have a lot of patience. Time will be lost, and you will eventually need to find workarounds.
Positive: - good price comparing to competitors
- can create your own scripts
- design similar to excel
- ability to create sheets within workbooksNegative: - no ability to save file manually, you have to wait and pray it won't disconnect

- "out of memory" when copying significant amount of data, or doing some bigger operations, and it restarts your file from the last save
- workbooks constantly losing connection, especially when working with bigger files - shame for a big data product
- you can upload csv files, but in practice they have to be smaller - bigger files will cause connection lost when importing
- lacks some of excel features that are crucial
- filtering works as bad as you imagine - when you delete or cut cells you filtered, those hidden will be affected too
