Summary: Glitchy app, cx can’t call. Standing outside by homeless people for 1+ hour with cx

Positive: None absurdly none. Not a single one. It’s bad.

Negative: Wrong time estimates, lie about arrival and departure to load up passengers in directions that don’t make sense.

Summary: My ride was cancelled stating that I was over 10 minutes late to my departure time. My departure time was 4:46pm and I received that message at 4:32 pm. I contacted the Help line, which is challenging to find on the app and only offers a chat window. After 10 minutes of explaining myself over and over, they blamed it on an app glitch. My ride never showed up. Help line was SO slow and said they'd find another driver, that I should refer to the app to see my driver info. The app (which sucks), kept showing me a different driver, over an hour away, but stated my departure time was one minute ago. WTF. I ended up not being able to rent a car, bc the rental places near me closed at 5 or 530, which by the time I waited around for my Hitch ride, were closed. My husband had to drive 3 hours each way to come pick me up. Hitch left me high and dry and still charged me for it. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE.

Positive: It was cheap, about the same as a nicer bus fare. But it doesn't matter, bc they won't show up and will keep your money.

Negative: Not reliable.
Terrible User experience from the app itself.
Terrible customer service.
Will still keep your money.

Summary: Awful. Complete scam. They will not follow through with providing your scheduled ride and not refund you.

Positive: This company is a scam. They will leave you high and dry frantically trying to find a ride and steal your money.

Negative: Everything. They’re terrible. They’re so rude and thieves.

Summary: Horrible. I paid ahead to book a ride. No driver, no ride, no refund. Hitch is a SCAM! My gut instinct had told me that Hitch is not good, but I tried it. I waited at Starbucks as I was told by Hitch that I will hear from a driver one hour in advance. Then I received a text from Jen from Hitch. She said there is no driver. I told her I did not feel comfortable. Jen said she will refund my money. No refund. One week later, Heather told me I have a credit for another time. I will never ever use this company as they are a SCAM. I just want my money back because they are con artists. They are Scammers, con artists, no driver, no ride. I then had to contact Uber and arrange for transportation from Fort Myers to Tampa. I should have researched Uber from the beginning because I can at the very least, kmow I will have a ride from point A to point B. Nothing more than scam artists whose only way to be contacted is through an internet chat. No phone, nothing. The internet chat actually makes it worse as the being led to believe that there is actually a driver and ride to be expected gets dragged out until the very last hour. It simply does not get any worse than this.

Positive: Nothing. No driver, No ride, No refund.

No pros at all. There are no pros whatsoever. There was no driver and there was no ride. The only way to converse with Hitch is through an internet chat on their website. This is nothing more than a con game. This Hitch app needs to be taken down or else some one who goes online, thinks it all sounds reasonable is going to be in for a big disappointment. It isn't even about the money. It is just a big scam.
