Positive: The game-changer for us has been the streamlined invoice approval process as it provides flexible routing and edit capabilities. Also, the seamless integration of contracts and sub-pay apps simplifies the entire collection and signature sign-off process.

Negative: We did not have any downsides with Premier Construction Software.

Summary: We have numerous clients, each with unique requirements, so I appreciate the flexibility to tailor forms and lien waivers. The support team’s responses and conversations add meaningful value – they truly understand the topics at hand.

Positive: Premier is designed to be easy to use & understand. Personally, I have been here for 20 years, and having one system for construction and accounting is super helpful. The job dashboard is great, it provides valuable information, making it easy to drill down.

Negative: We did not have any negative experiences with Premier.

Summary: I truly appreciate the support we receive whenever we encounter any issues; they’re always available and provide exceptional training.

Positive: I must say, I’m extremely pleased with the accounting system – I absolutely love it. It simplifies many tasks for me. The cloud-based accessibility allows us to access it from anywhere, anytime, which is invaluable in today’s remote environment. The user-friendly interface is a huge help with customer deposits and subcontract agreements. The job summary report and forecast screen are invaluable tools for our team.

Negative: We did not have any downsides to Premier thus far.

Summary: Upon our initial adoption of Premier, we established it for our main GC company. The ownership was very satisfied leading us to expand its utilization to 10 of our companies across diverse sectors, including Service, and Millwork. We primarily progress bill our projects, which is now automated, saving us time, and eliminating calculation errors. The intro of the job dashboard and detailed reporting has garnered appreciation from our project managers. What truly sets Premier apart is its willingness to collaborate with us and demonstrate excellence in customer support by going above and beyond expectations.

Summary: I like the ease of the system; its extremely user-friendly. One of Premier’s best features is the ability to drill down to the invoice level directly from any report, it’s very valuable. Also, the software provides links to previous views, eliminating the need to open multiple tabs or search fields – everything is seamlessly interconnected, which is very convenient. The system has made my life so much easier! The cheque-printing process is extremely fast, and most functions can be accessed with a simple click allowing for electronic submission of subcontracts, lien waivers, remittance advices, change orders. This has been a huge time-saver for me.

Positive: I like the user-friendliness, drill-down capabilities, convenience, and fast processing features of Premier Construction Software.

Negative: There are no cons to using Premier Construction Software that I know of.

The UI and extensive reporting are impressive!

Summary: The outstanding Premier training team played a critical role in facilitating the adoption. Now, everyone is effectively managing their budgets and monitoring projects real-time.

Positive: Premier has been a true game-changer, it’s exceptionally user-friendly and adaptable. It’s been a pivotal tool in bridging the gap between operations and finance. Thanks to Premier, we successfully encouraged our project managers to proactively utilize the platform for tasks such as entering subcontracts, and change orders which has resulted in improved financial transparency for their projects.

Negative: No cons with the product so far! We have received assistance by doing a 1-o-1 implementation with the Premier team and they helped us to take advantage of all the features the software has to offer.

Summary: Wonderful! I have been to many other business conferences and this has been my favorite.
Can’t wait until next year.

Positive: Everything! The presentations were very informative, the food choices great and delicious. it was great getting to know the Premier team and seeing how excited they all were made me feel the same way. Looking forward to implementing the new ideas I got from the presenters.
The hotel room was very nice and I received an upgrade, not sure if it’s compliments of Premier or not. The macaroons were a great touch.

Negative: I can’t think of anything. Maybe a little less food, ate all day haha.

Summary: Great for the type of work we do. Having the PMs and accountants working in the same software makes us much more efficient.

Positive: Great software for general contractors. The team behind it is great and is always willing to listen to feedback to make it better.

Negative: The cash flow statement needs works, but I know that is in the works so very excited to see the changes coming.

Summary: The ease of the system to make changes is great. And the OData excel extraction is amazing. The report customization is great and the forms.

Positive: The software allows both accounting and project management to share information seamlessly.
It helps both parties to get valuable information out of the system.

Negative: What ever issues that arise are quickly resolved by the support team and Premier is always releasing new updates.

Summary: Incredible support. Not just ChatGPT but a real person that responds and even calls you. They are genuinely committed to helping you get the most from the software and will pick your brain for ways to improve it further.

Positive: Software that is focused on the construction industry incorporates best practices that is an also project management tool for project managers. They keep adding function! Drawing management, time accounting expense reporting, mobile access, AI reporting and inquiries on YOUR data…very powerful.

Negative: Since they keep adding features and functions, you will feel there is more to learn and more benefits to extract..! Corporate level dashboards are on their way. It can be a bit intimidating for Project Managers who for the first time are using the same system as the accounting.

Summary: I would come to the next conference in a heartbeat. Being able to have one on one sessions is a fantastic idea.

Positive: The Premier team was excellent. The modules were so informative. Being with other users really helps as well.

Negative: There wasn't anything I didn't like. Modules were really informative, venue and food were excellent.

Summary: Overall, we would highly recommend Jonas Premier to any general contractor looking for an industry specific, data-driven, integrated software platform.

Positive: Transitioning our company’s accounting systems to Premier has been an absolute game changer. The entire process from initial set up, to in depth training, to troubleshooting, and internal process development the team at Premier has been there every step of the way. We’ve felt very supported, and the process was as seamless as could be.

As a result of implementing Premier, our project management and accounting teams have more transparency across all our projects. Our project managers have real time access to project financial information and are empowered to make decisions to better serve our clients and increase project profitability. The reporting features in particular are very user friendly, customizable, and provide relevant data for all users. Our project managers love the AR billing functionality which saves time every month and has built-in redundancy to ensure all project costs are captured.

Negative: At this point, we've had a very positive experience transitioning.

During our transition from Quickbooks to Premier, we’ve been pleased with the multi-company environment that allows you to easily switch from any screen and run consolidated financial statements by the company. Premier Excel permits you to pull live accounting data for endless custom report possibilities and allows you to attach files for all types of transactions to store in a folder system that’s easy to use.

Positive: We are a growing real estate developer that migrated to Premier from QuickBooks. During this transition, we’ve been pleased with the multi-company environment that allows you to easily switch from any screen and run consolidated financial statements by the company. The software provides full job costing with multiple levels of detail, such as budget reports and tools, and seamless integration between job cost and GL financials. It easily allows you to request and track approvals for invoices, contracts, PO’s and provides electronic signatures as an additional benefit. Premier Excel permits you to pull live accounting data for endless custom report possibilities and allows you to attach files for all types of transactions to store in a folder system that’s easy to use.

Negative: It’s a learning curve on how everything works with some inconsistency between modules in terms of functionality and layout, however, the team provides outstanding customer service and support when it’s needed. As our projects progress, we look forward to leveraging more of Premier’s features, such as the automated bank draws and vendor invoice portal.

Summary: Overall, a very good product for the construction industry. Very user-friendly and user centric. Like the mobile app features for our Site Staff.

Positive: Very easy and intuitive to use. I like the many report options available out of the box. Being able to customize report is also very helpful.

Negative: Connectivity to the cloud takes getting used to compared to server based software.
