Negative: There is no any difficulty I ever found while creating my presentations through PowerPoint.

Summary: I've used this quite literally since I was in 8th grade way back in 2003-2004. It hasn't really changed in all that time, and it doesn't need to. It's already great as is. Some may find it dated looking, but change just for change-sake doesn't make something great. I remember when people were encouraging me to switch over to Prezi, but nobody uses that in a classroom. It's easy to make something that looks really good, and similar products, like Google Slides, just copy what Microsoft already did. Since it's a Microsoft project, there's integration with other Microsoft programs like Teams. When you put aside its age and minor issues in formatting here and there, it's pretty much everything it needs to be even now in the 2020s.

Positive: Make slides for presentations with ease. There's a ton of free and paid themes out there for you to use to make your Powerpoint presentation look really great. No one really uses them much anymore, but there are a lot of animations and effects you can do if you really wanted to. Powerpoint works for most presentation needs, whether it's for a lecture or a group project or business.

Negative: It can be a little hard to format and arrange things sometimes. I've definitely had many nights of being frustrated over getting something to look a specific way, and sometimes still have it go wrong during the presentation by being cut off. Definitely make sure you test, test, test everything before you actually go to present.

Negative: Everything needed for routine presentations are readily available in Microsoft PowerPoint and there are no cons found in this software.

It offers a premium experience with the neat familiar ribbon interface, free designs, transitions and the wide range of features. Now, it can even be accessed using just a browser as a part of Microsoft 365 subscription helping in collaboration as well.

Negative: Not really a con, but i think the standalone pricing is not justified as there are a lot of free and cheaper alternatives available. But as a part of Office suite it is value for money.
