Awesome video lessons Edited: Aug 02 2023
Summary: I have been using this for move than two years now and I love it. It has made homeschooling so much easier on me and my kids but it still have great rigor so I feel like they are coming out even more prepared than they would in public school.
Positive: The killer videos from interesting teachers. My kids like them. After the video they have questions to see how well the student understood. If they don't score well, it gives them more video explaining it more. The writing tutor activities are amazing -- my daughter has really gotten better as writer using this tool that is built in.
Negative: I wish there was a way to do the live monitor on all my kids at once. One by one is cool but it would be better if I could see them all at the same time.

Not quite what I’d hoped for Date: Nov 16 2023
Summary: Ok, but not great when there are other better options out there. We are now considering Time4learning, due to it’s positive reviews, interactive lessons and decent pricing.
Positive: I liked that they have video lessons. Some of the teachers were really good, like the maths teacher in the middle school section.
Their AI writing tutor really helped my boys tremendously to improve their writing.
The management portal for the parents is easy to use.Negative: The lessons cannot be accessed before or after they appear in the syllabus. In the student portal the lessons activate one after the other, so the student cannot save a task to return to later. If they get stuck on a writing assignment which forms part of an actual lesson (not a special assignment), they cannot continue with the following lessons, until they have completed it.

There are no easily printable, comprehensive notes which can be accessed at any time, from which the student can prepare for exams. There are really basic lesson notes, but you are only able to access these from the student portal, and only during the review lesson (once the child finishes the online review lesson, you are no longer able to access those notes). So if you want your student to review the written class material, you have to plan the timing really well.
We have moved away from Acellus/Power homeschool because I have found the course material to be substandard. It is not nearly challenging enough to compare with regular schools.
