Summary: I really liked this and that's why giving a rating close to 10 I personally feel that everyone should give it a try.

Positive: It is very handy that came with so many features that are very useful and support whenever we need them. It completely changed the working of my team. Now it is efficiently working using this.

Negative: On a whole there are very less cons that can be observed but it has very less cons comparing others.

Summary: Percona Server for MySQL is overall is the best software in MySQL. Percona Server for MySQL provides training also.

Positive: Percona Server for MySQL provides the best performance and scalability. Percona Server for MySQL has extremely high-performance.

Negative: Percona Server for MySQL can improve their performance.

Summary: Percona Server for MySQL is being used across our whole organization. We are running 50+ primary instances in our data center with DR replica's running on compute instances inside GCP in 2 different regions. Percona Server for MySQL solves our need for well-tested and stable MySQL instances with Percona doing additional testing to the upstream releases which gives that added level of stability that we need for the massive volumes of processing as well as the required performance in sharded instances.

Positive: Performance.

Additional Variables for in-depth monitoring.
Easy migration path to Percona XtraDB Cluster.
Percona Server for MySQL is open source with no hidden licensing costs which gives us huge savings on the high number of instances that are required on premise and in the cloud.
Large community support.
Percona offers additional open source tools to support Percona Server for MySQL.

Negative: A distributed database offering to scale writes with native sharding. Currently we make use of sharding managed by the application to scale writes. There is the option to place ProxySQL in front of the shards, but we need a true cloud native distributed option with an easy migration path. I would not say this is negative in terms of Percona Server for MySQL, but if Percona had a distributed database offering at some stage, we would follow Percona.

Summary: Percona provide great software. I would highly recommend them. Obviously look at what your needs are and check that you get all the functionality you require.

Positive: Very easy to install and and use. Well documented. Easy to upgrade. Enterprise standard. Paid support available if needed.

Negative: Without paid support you have to google any issues so takes a bit longer to resolve.

Summary: Great database server.

Positive: Percona server provide better database solutions for the applications. It is very fast and secure.
Percona server provide better performance.

Negative: Handling large size databases.

Summary: I am fully thankful for what I found in the Percona community and how this guide can make all easy to use and understand.

Positive: I like all these tools that come with Percona Toolkit and make your life easier at work.

Negative: Sometimes it's hard to understand and use it by yourself and u need help from support.

Summary: This application is the best for MySQL server, you can easily manage performance and database. I recommend Percona server for MySQL.

Summary: It is basically amazing and I basically promote my friends and other people that I know to use this Percona server. Because I like its overall features.

Positive: I like its UI design and also like the speed of processing of database. It is server is much faster than other servers.

Negative: I don't like its customer support feature. I would like to have more improvements on it.

Summary: Overall it is a great solution to manage MySQL database . It is easy to learn and works faster than other server solutions providing good support.

Positive: The ease with one can install and use this makes this a perfect fit.
Moreover the great security it provides is icing on the cake. Additional tools are available to easily expand.

Negative: In my opinion a better UI would make this more favourable. Documentation for the end user can be improved as well.

Summary: It's overall great software to use, if you compare it with mysql, I don't regret my decision of switching from Mysql.

Positive: I have used this software for the past 1 year. Its performance is great, xtrabackup and xtradb works greater than i thought, it's better than mysql, it offered a lot more features.

Negative: Can't find the solutions of problems without google help, need to have paid purchase.

Summary: Generally, I would say it is an amazing product that is capable to satisfy greatly the needs of users, however, I want to highlight that there is still room for improvement.

Positive: It has a trial version and a free one that makes the product available for the mass as it is a great opportunity for everyone. Besides, in our system, we use Oracle MySQL and it shows amazing performance. Storage of data management is having incredible performance.

Negative: The user interface, generally, I would like to have it more user-friendly that we were experiencing some difficulties when we were implementing first. The scale of documentation still lacks and comparing with other actors in the marketplace for the same segment.

Summary: Great experience with Percona Server for MySQL. Its compatible and provides superior server performance.

Positive: Ease to use, provides better performance and concurrency and has managed services and enterprise support.

Negative: In my opinion pricing is the issue in Percona server.

Summary: Overall, I enjoyed working with the Percona. it is amazing software and much recommended for all of my clients

Positive: Percona Server for MySQL is really awesome because it is SAAS deployable, works on premises and in the cloud and also it is enterprise ready and the workload consideration is superb.
Also it has great documentation to follow

Negative: There is nothing that I dislike about the product but I hope more new features will be added soon.

Summary: Overall, It is perfect server for MySQL because of its features, GUI, scalability & availability and high security.

Positive: Percona MySQL Server's Pros:
