    Improvement on old interface

    Summary: We switched over to Service Center earlier this year, and I have been pleasantly surprised with how easy the transition has been. The new updates have been a welcome update.

    Positive: Everything sorted into larger groupings, so workflow improved. Nicer design elements make applications appear more modern and easier to access.

    Negative: Still needs a few tweaks to enhance user experience, and some built in tools, like a remittance viewer would be a big benefit.

    Summary: Good/ I wonder if some of the changes made were really necessary. I don't have much to say. I have to get to work and yet I am filling out a survey. I go anywhere and do anything and there is the option for a survey. It is getting old. I do not have time for this.

    Positive: The organization of it and the prompt attention when things go wrong. I have not much more to say. It is a tool to do my job. It is just that. I suppose that is a pro. Is it superior to other option. I do not know

    Negative: The down time. Today I cannot access the EHR. Why. I am getting behind in my progress notes. I know that some glitches are inevitable. It is just frustrating when this happens. I am asked to write more, I want to get to work and cannot because this is holding me hostage. It needs more words. Ehr is not working for me today. Is this because I needed to fill this out?

    Summary: My experience has been good. As I said the ease of using the system, works for me. I wish it was a lower price.

    Positive: I do like the ease of keeping stored information in the system. Also like being able to look up claims.

    Negative: How it just doesn't tell you to change your password.

    Enjoying the update

    Summary: The update is visually appealing, cleaner, quicker to navigate. Customer service is excellent, very helpful, and I love I can use the online chat as it's difficult to be on the phone during business hours. Four stars because I don't have experience with any other clearinghouse to compare but from what others have commented on social media, OA costs less and as far as we're concerned, provides everything we need.

    Positive: Simple.
    New version is easier to navigate and visually appealing.
    Reasonably priced.
    Customer service is easy to reach via online chat and very helpful.

    Negative: The 835 files (when opened) could be more visually appealing but not sure that is something that OA can control.
    Don't understand why a clearinghouse would be "non participating" with an insurance company but I also haven't inquired about it.

    Practice mate and Remittance download

    Summary: Very good experience and time-saving while using this software.

    Positive: 1) Very simple UI and efficient in verifying all the patient details.
    2) Affordable pricing, is very useful for small practices.
    3) Claim submission is a very easy and efficient clearing house for clearing the rejection
    4) Payment posting is very easy and quick

    Negative: 1) Remittance download is only available in Zip format. We need third-party software to download as PDF. If it was fixed then the software is very easy to use

    Summary: Once all worked out this is a great site. The new format is great. Easy to view and find whatever you are looking for.

    Positive: Lots of new, larger fonts. New format is wonderful! Easy look up for a particular ERA. Easy to view.

    Negative: Lots of cliches in new update that need to worked out.

    Summary: Overall this has been a good clearinghouse up until they began charging $35 a month for non par claims. I am a small billing service and may only submit 10-15 claims a month. Having to pay $70 a month for two very small practices has totally changed how I feel about the company. I also learned that they will be charging $10 a month for the submission of 1-10 paper claims per month. I submit two paper claims per month. I am now in the process of looking for another clearinghouse to meet my needs.

    Positive: Ease of use. Supportive customer service. Very user friendly. Easy to navigate throughout the system.

    Negative: Pricing. I am being charged $35 a month for one, yes one, Non Par claim. This is totally disappointing.
