- The user side mask is very straightforward to operate.

Negative: - The software is very difficult to operate at first because of the complexity, it would be great if they provide in-app tutorials.

Negative: -You will first need to be trained to use this tool because of the intricate architecture and Interface.
-The major con is that it is not a multiplatform tool.
-You can only use files up to 2GB and fields up to 255, which is significantly less.

Summary: Overall, Access is the best tool available out there if you know the depths of databases. Otherwise, it will be very tough to use it because of the complex features and language.

Negative: -It is very complex to use. A beginner in the field of database won't be able to use it because of the complexity.

Positive: It is convenient for everyone to create a manageable database and having access for it at times of desire and Microsoft Access does well to fulfill this purpose.

Summary: Overall MS Access provide huge database management system and data refining & data mining is very easy with its usage. Multiple forms can be created and user can enter the respective fields only. Bit technical but user can use for layman usages and generate the charts, reports and tables as per his requirement.

Positive: Any organization need reports and well maintained database. MS Access has all the features of entering the large data base and organizing in very better way. Its forms and pivot charts helps in updating the data in connection. Can provide the links to other access databases and update the same.

Negative: Detailed knowledge is required for management of records and data connection. Major tools are available however the nomenclature is might different from MS excel and hence training is mandatory.

Summary: Access is a great tool for storing data for small businesses. It is easy to use, the startup wizard is quite helpful for beginners and executes simple SQL queries. But it can't be helpful for large businesses with huge amounts of data.

Summary: I like the product, but it's not robust enough to process hundreds of thousands of rows of data. If you are looking for something to scale with the amount of data you have, I would steer clear of this product.

Positive: This is a pretty easy to use database, even for those not so technically savvy. I have been able to build databases even with my limited database management skills.

Negative: The databases break when dealing with more than about 50,000 rows of data.

Summary: Access is maybe good for a small business proprietor who wants to keep track of inventory and wants more than a spreadsheet. A developer would definitely want something more.

Positive: Microsoft Access is reassuring for people who are familiar with other Office products and who might not be overly technical or inclined to learn scripting / non-graphical user interface database functions. The ability to run simple queries and joins without writing code is probably its strongest point.

Negative: Once you become decent at writing SQL queries or have many large databases and tables with complex relations (or data that can't easily be represented in a relational format), Access isn't much use. You'd want SQL Server or an Oracle offering, or a NoSQL database like MongoDB. And there's even simple SQL databases like SQLite or Postgres, that work super well with Python development...

Summary: I have tried the free trial of Microsoft access, it is a pretty decent tool and works really well on small datasets and not a very ideal tool for handling large data sets. You can create dashboard and query with the help of SQL and creating a complex report or dashboard can be a bit of a problem.

On overall basis, it is a pretty decent tool and can be used on smaller datasets.

Positive: (+) User friendly and has a good interface.

(+) Easy access to SQL for pulling out data you require from the database.

Negative: (-) Microsoft Access is not an ideal solution for databases that grow on a daily basis.
