    Just what I was looking for

    Summary: From my first test it was immediately useful. This means I already know I will use it more. I could readily sense it's productive helpfulness. I looks like I will grow in using it as I learn more of it's features.

    Positive: Ease of use.
    Ability to combine my keyboard with their dictation typing.
    Works with every application I have tried.
    Readily available for quick start and stop.
    Recognizes most of my speech as is.
    Helpful for those who must type but have joint pain.

    Negative: About one time per page it hung up, but I think there is something I haven't learned yet.

    LilySpeech is impressive, free software

    Summary: I have found that LilySpeech can be a little quirky, sometimes freezing up (in Windows 10) and I may even have to reboot the computer to get it working again, but most days it works flawlessly all day. The benefits make it totally worth the effort! I use it with a wireless Bluetooth headset and I am using LilySpeech to write this review. For free, it's an incredible piece of software and I have it installed on all my computers. This is on my "must-have" list. I have been looking for something like this for years.

    Positive: I can dictate ANYWHERE I would normally type!
    It responds quickly and accurately to my speech.
    The accuracy is as good as Google Docs voice typing.
    I set up F12 as a hotkey so I can flip it on and off at will.
    No carpal tunnel damage or tired typing fingers.
    The typing speed is very fast.
    I can add to a list of custom words and spelling to improve recognition.

    Negative: Occasionally stops working forcing a restart or a reboot.
    Takes a long time to start the program.
    It is a discontinued product so there won't be any updates.
    For dictation only, no computer control.
