Great Concept, A Bit Scary Date: Mar 24 2023
Summary: The video and audio had no lag at all. The non-mobile versions have this feature which is good, and once mobile has it too it will be great!
Positive: I like that no server is needed. I also loved being able to verify that with only two connections into a room, the room will not be updated with chat unless both connections are active. Like a walkie-talkie over the Internet, with video chat and simultaneous transmit/receive.
Negative: I am not sure how my app got updated on my PC. It said it needed to update and after a couple of restarts it was updated but that means the update came via the Holepunch relay and that is a bit scary because malware could be injected. Also, it failed with a simple VPN profile like Cloudflare’s 1.1.1.1 app on mobile.
