    Deceptive, Threatening, and Unprofessional – A Warning about Jace AI

    My company’s dealings with Jace AI were a disaster. Their customer service is not merely incompetent; it is deceptive, harassing, and very likely unlawful under Australian Consumer Law (ACL). If you value honesty and basic professionalism, keep clear of this firm.

    Misleading Pricing & Hidden Discounts

    When I asked about discounts (specifically a 50 % coupon), Jace AI replied that “we don’t offer” such reductions—strongly suggesting no discounts existed. Days later I discovered a 40 % promo code that worked instantly. Jace AI had concealed a live discount while denying one to us, a textbook breach of ACL rules on false price representations. Misleading customers about pricing is not clever marketing; it is illegal—and an early sign of the contempt they show toward users.

    Intimidating, Unprofessional Emails

    After I questioned their conduct, a staff member fired off an email headed “We’ve informed our legal team and grief counselors. Losing a user who almost signed up is always the hardest. Farewell, sweet almost-client. You were nearly ours.” They also messaged an employee threatening to publish our private onboarding conversations unless we backed down. This is bullying, pure and simple, and ACL §50 expressly bans undue harassment or coercion in trade. One of my employees was shaken by the tone and implicit threat. No reputable company communicates with customers like this.

    Leadership That Denies, Then Downplays

    Jace AI’s co‑founder initially brushed off our complaint as baseless because no fees had yet changed hands, even hinting at seeking costs against us. Only after I lodged a tribunal claim did two founders issue an apology, admitting the email was “completely unacceptable” and firing the employee involved. Yet publicly they kept minimising events, calling our grievance “spurious” and recasting the abusive email as a “playful” misunderstanding. Private apologies paired with public denial show zero real accountability.

    Bottom Line – Avoid at All Costs
    In 15 years of business, I have never met a vendor as hostile to its own customers as Jace AI. They lied about prices, threatened to leak private data, mocked our concerns, and ducked responsibility when caught. If this is how they behave before you even pay them, imagine the risk once they have your data and your money. Do yourself a favour: steer clear of Jace AI and choose a provider that respects both the law and its clients.

    Positive: If the team followed the law and did not threaten dissatisfied customers, they might have a product... but for the reasons in this review you should STAY AWAY.
