ISPConfig Description

Open Source, transparent, cost-free, reliable, secure, and remarkably fast, ISPConfig is designed for ongoing development and boasts extensive documentation alongside a large community that offers a support forum and enterprise-level assistance. Users can efficiently manage one or multiple servers through a single control panel, whether operating on a single server, a multi-server setup, or mirrored clusters. Regardless of whether you are utilizing a physical server or a virtual machine, ISPConfig operates seamlessly. The ISPConfig support partner network provides a comprehensive array of assistance options, including email support, remote login capabilities, installation help, and consulting services. Management of various servers is streamlined through a unified control panel, enabling effective web server administration for both Apache2 and nginx platforms. Additionally, the system allows for mail server management featuring virtual mail users and DNS server management for BIND and PowerDNS. Virtualization support (OpenVZ) is included, along with login options for administrators, resellers, and clients. Since the APS project has been discontinued, it has been removed from our panel for improved efficiency. Moreover, HTTP/2 will be activated for all websites that are compatible with the software, and we have also implemented further checks for subdomain/alias virtual host domains in web folders. This ensures enhanced performance and reliability for all users.

No success installing ISPconfig on Debian 12 (released Mar-2025)

    Date: Mar 24 2025

Summary: No success, just waiting for an update or a bug fix (Mar 24-2025)
Debian being a very popular Linux, a fix would be quite welcome !

    Positive: Debian 12 "Bookworm"
Debian 12, ISO is now UEFI signed, kudos Debian, much better than previous version, better installer too (very good too !)

Negative: No success, errors messages not leading to a fix.
This on Debian 12 (MATE desktop) , pristine, just installed, unmodified.
Error message seems to indicate permissions on /etc/fstab file (not sure!)
