Summary: I did a lot of research on management software prior to purchasing Gym Assistant when I opened my Fitness Center in October of 2005. It was a decision that has made my life so much easier.
Positive: Easy to use,
Timely updates and upgrades,
Great customer service and prompt response time
Provides everything we’ve needed in a Club management software for over 19 years.Negative: I would like to see the addition of a class management application, that could track class reservations, attendance and revenue.

Summary: Our facility has been using Gym Assistant for 15 years and couldn't be more pleased with the continuous software updates, tech support, and ease of use.
Positive: Ease of use, customer support, fob integrated software, costs vs other products on the market, software updates, product improvements.
Negative: I can't really say I have any cons. If anything, the software lacks CRM capabilities BUT I cannot complain due to the low cost for the software platform. Majority of the other gym software companies charge exorbitant fees for similar software with CRM capabilities.

Summary: Wonderful. I cannot say enough about how great Gym Assistant is. I recommend Gym Assistant to anyone who will listen.
Positive: The ease at which everything is integrated: auto-door, all hardware needed, monthly dues processing, reporting is fantastic, ease of set-up and modification to system. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS SUPERIOR.
Negative: Nothing. Any glitches I have had are directly related to my lack of tech skills. Quickly addressed by the support team.

Summary: We are celebrating our 50th anniversary this year and I have experienced a lot of changes during that time. One of our best additions was using Gym Assistant Software and I don’t expect to change any time soon.
Positive: First and foremost is customer service. Though Gym Assistant is a good product on its own. When problems arise who is there to help? Problems are few but when they arise Gym Assistant’s customer service has always solved them quickly and to my satisfaction.
Negative: It would be nice to be able to text members concerning the status of their memberships. Automatically would even be more advantageous. Missed payments, past due accounts, expired credit cards. Reports will provide the info but not the results.

Summary: In a previous life I was a software engineer. When reviewing various other gym products, I placed my mind in the position of an end user. Our members want to get in, workout, and leave. They have no time or desire to multi-task with other members outside of their time together in the gym.
Positive: We chose Gym Assistant for the "KISS" (Keep it simple - - -) The other software products we reviewed had way too many options just like the old VCR. We have been open now 7 years, are very profitable, and our members love the simplicity of "swipe your card, and it is all done". Billing, records, reports, delinquency are all great!
Negative: Need more time to think about that! Filling up a "con" section when we have not had any "defining moments" outside of upgrading to a new controller is beyond the scope of the request.

Positive: Gym Assistant is user friendly and keeps track of what we need. We have used it since 2014! Tech support is great.

Summary: This is the best and easiest software I’ve ever had to work with and takes care of everything I need to keep things organized and professional.
Positive: I opened my gym 7 years ago and wasn’t sure how to start or what program to use. I found Gym Assistant and it’s been a cake walk since day 1 working with them all. The team is amazing and always helpful. I even got some personal cell numbers for emergencies which also is a nice security blanket. Highly recommend
Negative: I like EVERYTHING this company has to offer. There has never been a bad incident that I could complain about

Summary: Overall completely satisfied with the product, pricing aspects and everything, with exception of pricing on digital keys for Bluetooth door operations.
Positive: The software is pretty straightforward and simplified for use. The tech support has always been amazing.
Negative: Because some features are simplified it loses some of the complexities in features and in reporting.

Summary: This has been incredibly helpful for data collection. It is also very easy to train staff on, and user friendly.
Positive: Easy to navigate, simple for customers, easy tracking of gym users. We are able to break down gym users by type (customer, staff, friend of customer). This is an important aspect for reporting to the executive leadership. It also provides automatic notification if a membership needs renewed.
Negative: This is a simple system to navigate. I can not think of any cons.

Summary: Very good customer support, quick easy set up. Would definitely recommend especially to start-ups.
Positive: This software is easy to use, beginner friendly and perfect set up for my small gym. One feature that stands out is the paperless option where you can send out documents to be signed without having to print!

Positive: The ease of use. easy to set up and easy to teach to new employees. All the reports we use and we are not paying of the reports we never use.
