Best All in one Solution & Great CDN Date: Jun 27 2020
Summary: I got to know Gumlet when I was looking for a photo compression app but still kept the quality. With Wordpress, there are many plugins that can do this, but the image quality is reduced after compression or it is extremely expensive, some services are quite expensive and the number of images allowed to be compressed is very limited, while an image uploaded to wordpress can generate dozens of different sizes on its own.
That's why I have to choose an appropriate image compression application, in addition to good quality it should also have a CDN. We are in the era of global business, the website load through CDN is essential if you want everyone in the world can access your website quickly.
It was great that I found Gumlet. I wasn't sure at first, but they allowed the trial to try 1GB of bandwidth and it was amazing that I was completely conquered.Positive: - Extremely fast loading speed with CDN
- Allow Lazy Load
- Installation is very simple (just install their plugin into the domain cdn set, you already have 1 website with the fastest speed anywhere in the world)
- Extremely cheap price (only $ 5 for 25gb bw / month) I believe with current websites this package is more than enough for everyone). They have Free package with 1gb free, you can use it right now without any charge.
- Allow CDNs for both JS / CSS / Fonts through Cloudfront (this is an extremely good feature because I do not have to spend additional CDN costs for a 3rd service anymore, I can also immediately turn off the free package of Cloudflare (because to me Amazon Cloudfront is much better)
- Multi-platform support (they have their own API to deploy on your source code, I'm also integrating it on my website)
I recently learned that they have implemented a new CNAME feature that can help you create your own CDN sub domain name like cdn.yourdomain.com. This is great for saving and also making your website image more professional, or cooler.Negative: I am still completely satisfied with Gumlet and feel that I don't have any weaknesses (or maybe I haven't realized it yet). Sometimes they will be able to answer support a little longer but that doesn't matter because all my questions are solved.

Positive: Image loads fast, I'm impressed with the speed and ease of installation. I have successfully deployed them on a few of my websites and it improves my overall loading speed.
Negative: The custom domain is an additional recurring cost, will be a plus point if its bundled together with the subscription.

Optimised image server with Cloud-front CDN support. Date: Aug 13 2020
Summary: Image optimization with resized/adaptive images is its biggest selling points, which result in faster loading web pages which of course is important.
Cloudfront CDN sounds great but only business users get CNAME support.
I was not too impressed with the customer service I received, but most important the platform does its intended job for my purposes of loading web pages faster by optimising and serving images.Positive: Easy to implement on sites and helps web pages load faster by optimising and serving adaptive/resized images.
Cloudfront CDN but only business users get CNAME support.Negative: Custom domain costs extra and the Gumlet subdomain is far from ideal from a branding perspective. Custom domain should be included in the cost.

A tool for image optimization in WordPress Date: Jul 30 2020
Summary: The product is good and the support though sometimes slow has always been polite, clear and transparent.
Positive: Gumlet is a great CDN provider for images. The WordPress plugin is easy to set up and works right out of the box. I deliver my images without using CSS so it generates the images on the fly at the right size needed for the device.
Negative: There has been a problem with the Elementor gallery preview images on my website. At present, it is still a problem but they have been honest with what the problem is and have kept me up to date on the time frame to fix it. They also made sure I had an earlier WordPress plugin that didn't have the problem.
