Summary: I have used several guard applications and typically less is more. Some try to do too much and the product does not work effectively. Others do too little for a hefty price. Finding the right balance between required functions and the bells and whistles making it all work together so the app successfully does what you pay for has proven to be a challenge. This app works well to scan the sites and create reports; however, it fails at pictures which is one of the simple areas customers has learned to love. This is an area that has historically been an easy success, but it is a major failing point with this application and has caused customer complaints. Of course, they will take no responsibility for the pictures not loading or the sluggishness of the app. If they would admit there is a problem and strive to fix it that could be something to look forward to, but at this time, they are still in denial that the tool is slow and delayed, which causes them to miss the boat and lose out on paying customers.
Positive: The reports are clean and fresh looking. Clients have expressed positive remarks in response to receiving them.
Negative: The application is sluggish on a phone and computer. Pictures are not loading and officers in the field complain about the time it takes to complete each scan. Because of the failure in picture performance, clients complain, and officers complain it takes them longer to complete tours. There are ongoing frustrations. They do not provide a single daily report to see all sites from a shift so you have to receive an individual email for each location which is also a time and resource drain.
