Summary: While I like the video quality, the interaction with the Android App is frustrating and inconsistent with other Google Products. I keep going back to Google Hangouts even though the quality isn't good, it's easier to use.

Positive: My boys like to use Duo to video chat with me. It's been a great product with good video quality over 4g LTE and 3G+ data speeds.

Negative: I really don't like how the person can see you when you call them before they accept the call. I also do not like the limited chat ability, that feature is not user friendly at all.

Summary: Duo offers a 720P clarity in video calling. The application is very simple to use and the design is very good. The preview feature "Knock-Knock" to see the video preview of the calling person is a very great feature. There is no option to send a quick text in case of a call drop or if you had to drop off because of some other reason.

On an overall level duo offer great quality for video calling. It is a definite recommendation if the quality is a priority,
