    Google's employee social network

    Date: Sep 07 2020

Summary: I took the trial for Google Currents, and although it didn't offer anything new or exciting it is a decent employee engagement tool especially for smaller teams/organizations who are into G Suite.

Positive: An answer to Microsoft's Yammer Google Currents is an employee engagement platform with the aim to help build a productive online community. It is a part of G Suite bundle and it can even be used to communicate with people outside your organization. It brings in a lot of current social network trends and is quite simple to use.

Negative: Although it is pretty neat, it offers no reason to switch over from Yammer which has even more features.
