FairEmail Description
FairEmail is simple to configure and compatible with nearly all email services, such as Gmail, Outlook, and Yahoo! It may be the right choice for you if you prioritize your privacy. As an email client, you will need to use your own email address to access its features. However, FairEmail does not accommodate non-standard communication protocols like Microsoft Exchange Web Services and Microsoft ActiveSync. Most features are available for free, but to ensure ongoing maintenance and support, some functionalities require a paid upgrade. Below is a summary of the pro features offered. Designed with minimalism in mind, this app allows you to focus on composing and reading emails without distractions. Additionally, it runs a foreground service that includes a low-priority notification, ensuring that you will not overlook any incoming messages. Overall, FairEmail aims to provide a streamlined and efficient email experience.

Great Email Client Date: Jan 17 2022
Summary: I would recommend giving this application a try to see if you enjoy it. Even without any pro features the app is still quite impressive. Read the documentation if the technical stuff is not understood but the setup wizard makes it a simple process to be reading your email in short time.
Positive: The ease of setup, configuration, and multitude of settings along with IMHO a good design makes it a joy to use. In addition the Pro Features are given with just a little donation, just under $8 at the time of this writing. It works with your own custom email and Gmail, although I keep Gmail separate from FairEmail as Google does a fine job as well. Documentation is extensive which is always a welcoming fact. RTFM.
Negative: Many ways to install, Play store, f-droid, GitHub builds, etc. Though this is not unique when trying to get the Pro Features to work after a reinstallation it can prove annoying. One of the pros was many options/settings, but on occasion this is a con too... either conflicts or not being able to find what you need.
