Summary: Domotz is a great tool to monitor your network and develop applications based on it. Really useful even for non IT person.

Positive: Easy to install and use.
Connections / notifications. We can monitor when employees go in and out.

Negative: The platform has a lot of options. Maybe a light version could be nice for small businesses.

Summary: Great experience from start to finish. I thought it was such a good product that I deployed a Domotz box too. It gives you all the management and catalogue information you need.

Positive: Low time to value. Setup was quick and easy and the process well thought though. SaaS based solution with the only local installs being the agents.

Easily accessible from any device.

Negative: Nothing really. Perhaps for home users could be a little expensive however that is not really their market.

Summary: Overall a great product, which has grown a lot in the panorama, comparable to "enterprise" level solutions.

Positive: Easy to set up.

Negative: Sensor dashboard that can be improved in terms of usability

Summary: I have been using the platform since 2016 and since then it has been continuously enhanced with new features.

Positive: Domotz has a very friendly user-interface, it has a web-app and a mobile-app, both offering support for dark mode. It recognizes new devices immediately with sending a push notification to the mobile devices, so that in case of an unauthorized access the necessary steps can be taken. Domotz also has a lot of integration into Microsoft Teams, Slack, Webhooks, Telegram and many others. Even Node-Red has a compoment for Domotz. The Domotz agent can run on multiple platforms like Synology, Qnap, Raspberry Pi, Microsoft or you can simply use the Domotz Box as a hardware appliance. Next to the device list with lots of information being gathered automatically upon device recognition, a network topology is shown, the network performance is constantly measured and there is a wide variety of customs and default alerts that can be defined, next to a lot of different reports, that are available. Also the support does a really good job with precise and fast responses. So Domotz is the best tool, that can be used for all kind of different network monitoring.

Negative: Nothing, Domotz offers all necessary functions for monitoring a network.

Summary: Very easy to set up. Variety of options to install agents. Synology, Windows and Home Assistant are my major apps of interest.

Positive: A full-featured monitoring system that is just the tool we needed. Integration with Ubiquiti network simplifies management of the system. Highly recommended for the enthusiast.
The dashboard puts the most important data right in front of your face, but the ability to dive in and, in certain circumstances, power cycle equipment remotely is quite useful.

Negative: Did not find anything lacking. Installation was very easy. the program easily detected all devices on the network and provided detailed descriptions of the devices.

Summary: Very useful solution. Statistical data and notifications plus all you need to deliver appropriate quality of network.

Positive: Very easy process of configuration and totally unattended performance afterwards. Great user interface and multiplatform options.

Negative: Be careful with the agent removal process. Better choice is to move it onto another hardware.

Summary: Domotz makes monitoring my networks a breeze. I like getting automatically notified when important devices go offline as well as when new devices join the network.

Positive: Great alerting and notifications and very easy to set up. The interface is very easy to use and the integration with my Synology made the setup simple.

Negative: The partner integrations are nice but not super useful.

Summary: Very satisfied. Easy to deploy options, easy to use, wealth of information. Support has been very acceptable and response.

I'm an early adopter, I've used the Domotz Box from the get go. However, they have easy to deploy using Raspberry Pi, Synology, Windows or Linux.
VPN and RDP are awesome.
Continued expansion of support for specific network attached gear.

Negative: Not much... does what I need it to do.
I'm disappointed that they removed the Lite version for home/personal use, that was way affordable for the individual user.

Summary: I have been using Domotz Pro for almost 2 years now and my main purpose was to get a good program that could spot new devices popping up in the network to spot strange behavior BUT also to keep track of the status of all my existing "good" devices and see if important ones goes offline.
I have tried to find other similar products on the market but have not found one that is as good as Domotz.

Positive: Very quickly spots new devices in the network and also keeps track of what port in the switch it comes through. And also keeps a good view of all the devices and tracks status. Also the software is developed and new smart features and is added on a regular basis.

Negative: So far there is really no things that I dislike. It really works OK in my opinion.
The only thing that I do not like is that they have removed the "Lite" version so private persons like myself could afford to use this powerful software.
(I have been running the "Legacy Lite plan" at an affordable level for a private user but you could not order that any more)
However, apart from that and for businesses I still would recommend this as it is a good software for sure.

Summary: We’ve been using Domotz for about 4 years and it has changed the dynamic of our customer support. We take our customer service seriously. Domotz gives an underlying weight to our compromise of service. We love the quick access we have to control, monitor and in-depth look at EVERY SINGLE DEVICE ON THE NETWORK.

Negative: * I’d love to see more features on the most affordable plan (residential) for the small systems
* I’d love for Domotz to have phone support as a default or an option to choose from instead of email support. It is actually available if requested but not as a default. Even if I have to wait for a call back, the verbal interaction would safe so much back and forth time when you’re on the run like we all are most of the time.

Summary: Perfect for allowing us as a growing MSP to focus on our customers and allow Domotz to look after and monitor the network. Really good to have a client side alert as well that allows them to look at alerts if required.
Had most of the features we were looking for when refreshing our RMM portfolio, including sync and simplification of the data between other tools.

Positive: Great, simple to use features allowing us to quickly setup our core network monitoring for new clients.
Integration with our other MSP tools such as Autotask, Hudu and Unifi/Ubiquiti.
Network mapping - a part of a product we have been looking for but without the cost of others that we have previously used.

Negative: More costly integration (per agent) for Autotask than we would like.

Summary: Now, I can be instantly notified about any downtime or inappropriate functioning of my sensors. Thanks to that I do not lose valuable data.

Positive: - The speed of finding new devices
- Fully cloud-based solution
- Easy to scale
- Include a mapping tool

Negative: At the moment I have not found it, maybe only the price for small networks may be lower.

Summary: I am very satisfied with our choice of using Domotz. It definitely enhanced the way our technicians work, and our approach to supporting our client networks when dealing with issues. We have decided to use this for all of our clients as a best practice to provide a better service to them.

Positive: This platform is super-easy to use: set-up of new sites to be monitored is a as simple as it should be. We can choose whether to use an existing NAS, a Windows or Linux Machie to scan the local network, as well as deploying a very simple hardware provided by Domotz. Domotz helps us understanding how the network is shaped (Network Topology Map available in Domotz) or exactly which ports of switches are used by which devices. For instance, this helped us when restructuring a network rack for one of our clients. The integration with Freshservice has been a life-changer: we are notified directly in our Ticketing System when something happens on the networks of our clients.

Negative: The integration with some PSA's (including Freshservice) should be expanded, so that it will be easier for our technicians to have all the information in one place.

Summary: So far everything has been great, continuing to add more clients. its awesome seeing everything in one dashboard, makes monitoring life super simple.

Positive: Easy to setup, easy to use. if i come across any issues the support team is always happy to help, even if the issue may not be because of the software itself.

Negative: Integrations can be quirky but they do their best to improve them with the different 3rd parties.

Summary: I have been using Domotz for years now, on the rare occasions that I needed support they were fast to respond and able to resolve my issue.

Positive: Once it's setup, it's easy to use and required no maintenance. Whenever you need to change something and do require support, they react fast and won't stop to assist you until your issue is resolved.

Negative: No cons or issues really, everything is working as desired.
